Body Tempering Potion

"You already know what our last item is." Old man Edmun said. "Sacred Medicine can only found in secret realms. It is rarer than the chances of the author getting laid. (Oy! That hurts!)" After Edmun has done with the introduction, a tray with dozen of bottles filled with yellow liquid carried to the stage.

"Body Tempering Potion can strengthen the body and has a little chance to improve your mana circulation speed."

'Such a lame name for such a low tier potion.' I couldn't help but curse. Impurity Cleansing Bath Water became Body Tempering Potion in these lowlives' hands.

"We have only 12 such a bottle and thus auction them one by one." Old man Edmun said started the auction. Prices spiked in the first few times, and in the middle, it was around 20.000. The last three reached a new top of 50.000 golds, and the auction ended.

No one knew, but the winner of the auction was me. I stroke gold by buying the plant could earn at least 50.000 Epic Cores in the outer space for only 100 Uncommon cores.

I left the venue with Starisk, curious about the plant I was holding in my hand.

"Sir, what is this plant?" He couldn't help but ask when we were walking back. Now that we were done with the action, there was no need to spend money on taxis or luxurious cars. "And why haven't you bid for Body Tempering Potions. If you were short on gold, I could loan you some."

'Ah, Starisk, that horse piss is not even close to what I will make, yet people are going crazy about it. I cannot help but get excited!'

"It is not that important for me, as my elements are all ranged," I answered, and lied through my teeth. "The plant is something I want to do experiments on. It was just 10 Rare beast cores, I can earn it easily."

When we arrived at the house Starisk lend me, he left, and I also went inside, but after waiting for 15 minutes, I left again. I had urgent things to do, and I had to do them without anyone knowing them. Before I left the house, I tried something new on me. My Combo Element, Broken Reality allowed me to shape the reality itself. As a part of reality, I should be able to affect myself as well.

I fought a few different kinds of animals in the past week. Some of them head heat senses, some had giant bodies, but one particularly had what I needed at the moment. Olfactory and auditory senses of a wolf.

Normally it wouldn't be that easy to mimic sensory organs, but I had a perfect subject to experiment on, my Wolf Girl Ylva. I had spent some time to learn how her nose and ears are working, what makes it better than humans, and how I can efficiently cancel it. This was the bad and good side of my Combo Element. I needed lots of information to affect reality.

After increasing my hearing and smelling capacity, I left the house, making sure no one is following me. After walking into an alley with no one watching me, I pull out an item I never had a chance to use before.

[Faceless Mask: Divine Item to help you take any face. It also hides aura.]

I didn't need it to hide my aura. All I needed was to change my face.

After taking another face with the mask, I used my mirror element to check out my new face. I now had crew-cut hair and brown eyes. I also changed my clothes to sport jeans, loose hoodie, and sneakers. I walked out of the alley and walked towards to black-market with my hood up.

It didn't take me long to arrive at my destination. Even in the night, the streets were crowded with people of each race. I walked to a store selling stolen goods. Starisk told me their second business in passing. Creating fake ids. They weren't as trustable as what Starisk prepared, they were better than nothing, though.

I walked inside the shop and approached the counter. I showed my hooded face by tilting it and dropped a bag with 100 Uncommon beast cores to the counter. "I have problems with my identification," I said with a husky voice. Luckily Faceless mask was also able to change the voice.

The man at the counter looked at me and outside of the shop. After making sure it isn't a setup, he grabbed the bag and weighed it. "The price is right," he smirked and took me to the backroom.

"Name, age, race, level, and element." the man said as he set the machine up.

"Name is Miles. I am human, obviously. 20 years old. No cultivation, no element." The man looked at me weirdly and sent mana to probe my cultivation, but found nothing. After all, even the mana he sent only hit the illusion I created.

"Right. It will take a few minutes. In the meantime, I will take your picture." He said and took me to a wall where there was a tip-up green curtain. He took a picture of mine, and after a few minutes, give me the brand new id.

After thanking and leaving the shop, I went to an alley with no one in sight. This was the street where one of the secret tunnels Starisk has built opened to. I watched the secret entrance for more than a few hours from one of the roofs. After seeing no one else spying the entrance, I entered the secret tunnel and went back home. When I arrived home, the girls were fast asleep. I kissed each on the forehead, and I let myself to my room.

When we first arrived at the house, I checked all over the place for hidden equipment can spy on us and found nothing. Luckily Ylva was more experienced on the subject and smelled all over the house. Finding nothing, we let ourselves loose.

I took out the Three Fruit Tree and fed it with my Combo Element. After supplying mana more than 10 minutes, as I was about to run dry, the tree shone brightly, and sweet smells started to feel the room.
