Lying through his teeth!

"You are finally here, Miles!" Filverel greeted me in front of the Association building, on a red carpet. Straisk behind me dropped his jaw from the shock. There were many people coming from big powers in the city, but none of them had the privilege to be greeted by the Master of Association himself.

"Sir, De- Miles, you know the Master Filverel?" Starisk asked, dumbstruck.

"Yea, we had some transactions." I didn't want to share everything with him, since I don't know him very well.

Filverel walked us in and showed our seat in the VIP section. Because Straisk was with me, he has also gotten a seat. We sat down and waited for the auction to start. The VIP section was a closeable balcony. One could just let it open for others to see. I left it open because I wanted people to see how Filverel treats me. I also had another card to play.

The auction was about to start when a well-rounded lady with fox ears entered the auction hall. "I welcome all of you people graced our Association with their presence." Fox lady smiled charmingly.

"As you know, there was an auction held by the Human Federation Auction House. Thus many of the esteemed guests weren't able to join. What discrimination. We, the Alchemist Association, do not differentiate based on race, religion, or other things. And the favorite items of this auction had landed us by a human Master graced us from outer space." When the lady narrated until here, she stopped.

"What, a master from outer space?"

"It can't be true!"

"I don't think the Alchemist Association would lie about something like that."

"Yes, but-"

"Please, let me finish." Fox Lady said, raising her hand. "The Human Federation Auction House sold a Fox Race core in their auction, and it is against the laws of the World. Thus anyone associative to the Human Federation Auction House is banned from entering Association."

"Now, sadly, Master Altair, who gifted the items we are going to auction today, hasn't graced us with his presence. But, his disciple is here to talk on his behalf. I welcome, Expert Alchemist at a tender age of 18, Miles!"

"What!?"

"18 years old and Rank II? It is unheard of!"

"He is the disciple of Master Alchemist from outer space. It is normal."

"What do you know? Would you able to Level up to 11 if you had a Master like that? It is still a peerless genius."

I rose from my seat and walked towards the stage in the air. One edge of the barrier was attached to the balcony, and the other to the stage. People looked at me as I created some glow and fake air by braking the reality. My hair fluttered, and I was glowing like a God revere the land. I unhurriedly walked to the stage and turned to the crowd.

"Hello, everybody. You may have not seen me before, so I will introduce myself." I said with a charming smile. "I am Miles. I am from Holy City, but I left there when I was a small boy. The reason I left the biggest City in this World was because of the treatment Inhumans were getting. I left the City and walked many places in the World, and learned many things. By fate, I met with my Master in this City not so long ago." I gave away the last information on the purpose, of course. People would take me as a lucky boy if they knew I had a Master Alchemist opening the path for me. But if they thought I got my skill by myself and caught the eyes of a Master Alchemist because of my skills, they would look at me differently.

"He met with his master not long ago. So his skills are his success."

"Yeah, I don't know if it is true or not, but even a Master Alchemist can create a genius like that in such a small time.

"People in that City had codes that I couldn't comprehend. Such as superiority of the Human Race or like keeping the information! People in the auditorium, I want to test something with all of you are my witness." I said with raising my volume. I pointed at a man sitting at the forefront and beckoned him to come to the stage.

"Sir, what is your name?" I said the man with gorilla properties.

"My name is Gror." The man answered with his thick voice.

"Sir Gror, do you have a gold coin on you?" I asked in a businesslike manner. He looked at me weirdly at first and then removed a gold coin from the spatial ring on his hairy finger.

"I do, here you are." He said, scratching his head.

"Thank you, Sir Gror," I said and turned to the crowd. "People in the auditorium! Has Sir Gror lost anything when he gave me a gold coin?" I said and put out the microphone to the crowd.

"Yes!" They all replied.

"Yes! He lost a gold coin when he gave it to me." I said and turned the man on the stage once more. "Sir Gror, do you know anything about this?" I said and removed a device like a long tube with two glass on each side.

"No, I don't know." Sir Gror looked at the thing for a while and admitted.

"It is a telescope. It can make far close by the mirrors on each side of the tube. By collecting the light on the mirror, the reflected vision gets bigger than the eye can see, and with this device, we can observe the outer space."

"What!?"

"It can't be true!"

"Test it, let me test it."

"At first people were crazy with new information I gave them, but they cooled down slowly and waited for me to speak. I turned towards them and asked.

"When I gave this information about a new device that can allow any person to observe outer space, have I lost anything?"
