How to get a Girlfriend revolves around Haruo Katsumi, an ordinary high school student who is bullied for having lower grades but after getting invited by the student council president Hana Misumi, his life changed but unexpectedly it was all an Act.



Unknown to his friends, Haruo's friendly and obtuse image is all but a ruse designed to cast himself as the clueless protagonist of a textbook romantic comedy. A schemer under his cheery facade, he makes the best of this unexpected turn of events with a new plan: To be a RomCom Harem protagonist.
