The Engagement Ceremony

The sun shone brightly at their heads while the loud galloping of horses sounded in the air. Prince Aadi turned and faced his companions, "Come fast; why are you slow? Walking at the pace of a tortoise!"

Galen snorted, "It's not us who are slow, Your Highness. But it's you whose feet seem to have become restless for quite a few weeks now."

Before Aadi could refute, Aman, who was riding on the same horse with Dev, remarked, "You are right, big brother!"

"Big brother Aadi is acting the same way since his engagement was finalised!"

"My poor heart is scared that my big brother Aadi is going to forget me after getting married!" Aman sniffed dramatically and buried his head in Dev's chest.

Dev nodded as well, "Dev is also worried."

Aadi shook his head and turned his horse towards Aman. He grabbed Aman's hands and comforted, "What are you afraid of? Both you and Yukt have their own place in my heart. This Prince would never ignore you, I promise."
