Flappy Vs Pidgeot
A few days went by like this. There were some king-rank Pokemons that attacked in the day and also at night but they were no problem for Axel's team. The teleportation team had done a wonderful job considering they were just made a month before the tide battle.
Some of Axel's Pokemons were also fighting in the tide battle and they were also contributing a lot.
It had been 5 days and there had been no deaths till now. The traps were working wonderfully as they always acted like a first barrier to give the team breathing room for battle.
After that night, there had been no sighting of even a tier 2 king-rank Pokemon, much less a tier 3 one.
Then suddenly on the 7th day, the intensity of the battle increased.
After that night, Axel had not personally gone to battle. He had just sent his Pokemons for the battle. Since the Pokemons that participated in the battle were all king-rank Pokemons, he didn't have to be worried about them and they were also working in teams.
But on the 7th day, Axel heard a rushed knocking sound on the door.
"How many king-rank Pokemons are there?", asked Axel.
Axel knew that the problem had arrived.
"Sir there are 9 of them. All of them are flying-type Pokemons. Except for a tier 3 king-rank Pokemon, all of them are attacking.", said Sam with a serious expression.
Even though they had a lot of king-rank Pokemons to fight, fighting 9 king-rank Pokemons was not a joke.
"Did you deploy the fly smoke?", asked Axel.
"Yes sir, we already did and this had given us some time to make some plans.", said Sam.
The fly smoke was a new product that Mark had introduced to fight flying-type Pokemons. The smoke would be released in the air which would act like a tearing gas for the flying type Pokemons. The smoke was also completely black which would hinder their eyes even more.
The team had released the smoke and flying-type Pokemons from their team and had used 'Wing attack' to direct the smokes to their opponents. This caused a huge disturbance in the attack pattern, synergy, and momentum of the enemy.
It was not only the king-rank flying-type Pokemons that had attacked. With them, there were thousands of flying-type Pokemons that were attacking them.
"Sam, can you tell me the name and the ranks of the king rank Pokemons that are attacking right now?", asked Axel.
He was having a headache now. It was very rare for all the 9 king rank Pokemons to attack at once. It was due to the difference in opinion of these king-rank Pokemons. They were king-rank Pokemons, naturally, they had their own pride and they didn't like to follow or cooperate.
But today there seems to be some sort of exception or anomaly.
"Sir, the king-rank Pokemons that are participating in this battle are:
Pidgeot (Tier 2)
Golbat (Tier 2)

"So, except for 2 Pidgeots, none of them are from the same group. So, why are they attacking at the same time?", asked Axel.

"Sir, Hector and I believe that since we did the secret mission, decreasing the numbers of king-rank Pokemon and also made a strong impact with Nidoking and other king-rank Pokemons, they are feeling threatened that they can not win this battle.
So, they are attacking together with a stronger force.", said Sam.
"That might be the only reason why it is happening like this. Where is Hector right now?"
"Sir, Hector is participating in the battle right now. Among us commanders, only he has a good amount of flying-type Pokemons that are at king rank. The captains are also helping in fighting with tier 1 king-rank Pokemons while Hector's Pokemons are dealing with tier 2 king-rank Pokemons.", said Sam.
"So, are we facing any problems in this battle?", asked Axel.
"Yes sir. The problem is not the king-rank Pokemons but the massive amount of flying-type Pokemons that are attacking with them. We just don't have so many flying-type Pokemons to deal with all of them.
I fear that we will receive our first death in this battle.", sighed Sam.
"Hmm, that is going to be a problem. Tell Mia to rest for today. Only she and Alon will be for the night raid.
Except for that tell all of the commanders and their respective teams to get ready for battle.
Also, tell the thunder team to be mobilized. I will also be joining the battle after a few minutes.", said Axel.
"Sir, that is not a good strategy. What if we face a similar problem at night?"
"If we will be facing a similar problem at night then I will take care of it. Right now, we need to kill those 9 king rank Pokemons as soon as possible.", declared Axel.
Except for Shedinja and Slowemperor, Axel was going to use all of his king-rank Pokemons in this fight. He was also going to use the new Pokemons. They need to experience this kind of tide battle. Gogoat was there to protect them, so there was not going to be any problem.

When Axel came out to the top of the building to see the progress of the battle, he was surprised to see the spectacle. It was pandemonium. Everyone was fighting for their lives.

Axel went to the battlefield and called out all of his Pokemons that were going to fight in the tide battle.
"All of you, we are facing a huge problem right now. All of you are now required to fight. Gogoat, you will fulfill the role of a guardian and protect the little ones. Charles, you will be fighting against that tier 2 king-rank Pidgeot. The rest is being handled by Hector.
Beedrill, you will act as a support in the king-rank battles, when they need them. Your job is just to help them in need.
The rest of them will be focusing on other flying-type Pokemons."
At that time, Pidgeot came near Axel and said, "Axel, I want to fight with that tier 2 king rank Pidgeot. Can I do it?"
"Flappy, you are not a tier 2 king-rank Pokemon. Can you really handle it?"
"Don't worry. I can handle it just fine.", said Flappy and then flew towards the tier 2 king rank Pidgeot.
After training in the Aues island, Pidgeot had grown stronger and it had learned some new moves and new ways to attack. It wanted to test its new abilities against the enemy.
A tier 2 king-rank Pidgeot was the perfect choice for it. Axel didn't bother to look at the status page of any of the king-rank Pokemons but he was worried about the fight of Pidgeot. So, he looked at the status page of tier 2 king rank Pidgeot.

Axel could tell from aura alone that the tier 2 king rank Pidgeot was not very strong. It was still a bit stronger than Axel's Pidgeot but that was it. This was normal as these were wild Pokemons and they didn't enjoy the vast amount of resources like Axel's Pokemons did.
It knew 2 new moves. The first was the domain move and the second was a very interesting move which made him curious.

Rocking Feathers: The user envelops a selected number of feathers with dense flying-type energy and then shoots them to the opponent. This is an AOE attack move.

Actually, it had already used 'Agility' one time before coming here and now it had used it again. It had also used the move 'Work up' 2 times to increase its attack stat.
This was the basics while fighting in tide battles. To use the status moves before the start of the battle. Axel had trained his Pokemon in this concept and everyone was following it.
Pidgeot didn't bother to care what Flappy was talking about and immediately used the move 'Aerial ace'. The speed of this Pidgeot was very high. It was a flying-type Pokemon that concentrated most of its training on speed.
Even Axel could not properly see its movements. But Flappy could. It immediately used the move 'Double team'. 4 additional copies were created from the move and this gave Flappy time to dodge the attack. Pidgeot hit one of those copies and that copy disappeared.
Meanwhile, Flappy got ready to use the move 'Wing attack' on Pidgeot. Pidgeot was partly able to dodge the attack but it was still hit by the tip of the wings. The power of these wings had increased a lot since the training in Aeus Island.
Flappy could tell that even after using 2 'Agility', the speed of Flappy and Pidgeot was similar. This was the difference between the 2 tiers. The duration of 'Agility' would end soon and Flappy would get a little weaker. So, it had to finish this battle as soon as possible.
This was the battle of speed. If Flappy could not win in speed, it would be at a disadvantage.
So, Flappy used 2 moves at once. The first one was 'Hurricane' and the second one was 'Whirlwind'. With its massive power, it was able to create 5 tornadoes and with the help of 'Whirlwind', the speed and the power of those tornadoes had been enhanced by a lot.
Flappy was able to expertly manipulate those tornadoes and then all those tornadoes surrounded Pidgeot. Pidgeot knew that if this persisted, it was game over even if it was a higher-tier Pokemon.

It gave a loud sound as its wings started to shine in bluish light. Suddenly almost all of its feathers came out and all of them were shining and those feathers rained down on those tornadoes.
Flappy was looking at all of it happening. It tried to manipulate those tornadoes to block all the feathers that were raining down. Additionally, Pidgeot seemed to have used 'Whirlwind' expertly to increase the speed of those shinning feathers. Out of the 5 tornadoes, 2 of them lost their momentum from that attack. So, Flappy had to close those 3 tornadoes that were left near Pidgeot to deal maximum damage.
All of those 3 tornadoes came near Pidgeot but Pidgeot's eyes were shining with serious light. It didn't look panicked from the attack that it was going to face. Flappy secretly admired this Pidgeot for its bravery. The power of this clash was going to be very high but Pidgeot was not scared.
Pidgeot immediately used 'Tailwind' to increase its speed, then used the move 'Brave bird' and then used 'Hyper beam'.
First the 'Hyper beam' shot out and made a hole in one of those tornadoes. By this time Flappy instantly changed the direction of 2 remaining tornadoes to attack it. Pidgeot then used 'Brave bird' and plunged itself into those tornadoes.
It did come out but it was injured by a bit. Its feathers were all ruffled up. It also seemed to have received injuries on its wings and body. But it was still ready to fight once again.
While Pidgeot was trying its best to get out of those tornadoes, Flappy had already used 'Agility' and 'Work up' to a maximum number of times and it was now in its optimal condition.
Axel also noticed that Flappy was not as tired as he thought that it would have been. Flappy had used the same strategy before but it was very tired after using it now, not only the power of those tornadoes had increased but it was also not very tired.
It looked like the training in the Aeus island had been very rewarding.
