Chapter 15: Being The Hero?

Option 1: After taking it, you have a 10% chance of learning skills or any profession.

Option 2: After taking it, all your attributes will be tripled. Effective for thirty minutes. If you die, you will be downgraded by 5 levels. Cooldown time: three months (gaming days).

After looking at the attributes of the Mysterious fruit, Jiang Ming was speechless. He took some time before coming back to his senses. "Uh…. Learning skills or any profession or tripled attributes. Both of them are equally crazy. No wonder it took up all of my stamina to deconstruct one. This is crazy!"

Jiang Ming described the Mysterious fruit's attribute as 'crazy' which showed his disbelief.

He wasn't planning to use the mysterious fruit now as there wasn't a need for it. So he carefully placed it back into his inventory.

Since he was already done with the Mysterious fruit, he turned his attention to the other three items he got from deconstructing the Reaper's and King Demon's bones.

(Demon bone) : Divine material

Intro: Alchemy…. Material.

(Demon heart) : Special item.

Intro: Can be consumed or used as a medication. Effect unknown.

(Demon stone) : Power stone

Intro: Efficiency unlocked after five turns.

"What?! Other than the attributes for the demon bones, both the attributes for the demon heart and demon stone are unknown?" Jiang Ming shook his head helplessly. "Forget it. I'll just leave it in the bag for now."

His stamina would recover 30 points every hour. As he saw how slow the bar was moving, he was speechless.

His total stamina was 210 points which meant that for it to be full again, he had to wait for another six hours.

In the midst of waiting for time to pass, he turned his attention to the altar.

As he looked at it curiously, he slowly walked towards the altar.

There was a hexagonal platform on the altar and all the six corners had a groove the size of a fist. The grooves were all covered with some ancient mysterious runes and were covered by dust.

"Teleportation matrix?"

He had seen such runes before as it was similar to the ones in the novice village, but Jiang Ming didn't expect that there would be a teleportation matrix here as well.

"Where does this teleportation matrix lead to?"

Jiang Ming looked at the teleportation matrix and thought. He initially wanted to try using it but since he had no power stones that could activate it, he had no other choice but to give up.

"Hmm…. I guess there are no other things here. I'll come back for the Reaper's armour later since no one else knows about this place anyway."

Jiang Ming shook his head and said after taking another good look at the stone chamber as he was sure that there were no other things there. Then his eyes fell on the tunnel that the Black Serpents had escaped through.

"Master, the tunnel leads to another novice village. If you wanna go through, I can help you." Chikage followed Jiang Ming's gaze and explained to him as he noticed that he was staring at the tunnel.

"Another novice village?" Jiang Ming smiled. "I didn't know that the novice villages were connected. I guess there's no harm in exploring another novice village. Help me make it a little bigger so that I can pass through."

At the Bison zone near the mind of 00520 novice village, there was a team of five that were fighting with a bison that was twice the size of a normal bison.

The team consisted of three women and two men. Since they still hadn't chosen their jobs, all of them were using close combat weapons.

"Omg! Beautiful Snow Dust, stop stabbing me! That huge target is right in front of you, but you miss it every single time. Instead, you keep stabbing me who's as skinny as a stick! What did I do to deserve this..."

"I'm….. so sorry. You keep jumping around everywhere!" The innocent beauty blushed and apologised.

"Beans, you should be grateful! There are a lot of people out there who would want to be stabbed by her. It's an honour that she's stabbing you." A woman close to him with a fiery and enchanting figure joked around with that skinny man.

"Mooooo!"

"Be careful!"

Just as they were having a conversation, the bison suddenly let out a loud bellow and dashed forward with its humongous body. It threw the skinny man into the sky and immediately killed him.

"Quick! Spread out!"

Another man quickly shouted when the skinny man was killed.

However, his reminder was useless. When the skinny man was killed, all three women were shocked to death and were stunned on the spot. It was at this moment that one of them got killed as well.

After killing both the players, the bison king turned its attention to the remaining man on the team. It immediately used a collision skill which sent the man flying. It even had a nauseous effect, and with no surprise, the man was killed as well.

In the end, only the innocent beauty and the fiery beauty were left.

The fiery beauty finally came to her senses and dragged along the innocent beauty called Snow Dust towards the mine.

The bison king immediately headed for the two beauties who were trying to run away after being done with the remaining man on the team. With all four of its limbs, it leaped forward towards the two of them with no intention of being merciful towards the beauties.

Although it was just a game, it was too realistic and actually hurt when you got killed. The two of them were most afraid of the pain. When they saw the bison king that was twice their height charging towards them, their faces turned pale and their eyes were filled with fear.

As they turned around and saw the bison king that was getting closer to them, they couldn't help but tremble. At this moment, they suddenly saw a man in black walking out of the mine.

"Help! Help!"

After seeing the man in black, they seemed to grasp onto him as their lifesaver as they kept shouting at the man, not noticing the cat lying on the man's shoulder.

The man who walked out of the mine was Jiang Ming. He walked through the tunnel that Chikage dug for him and reached the 00520 novice village. Before he could enjoy the view of the new novice village, he heard someone screaming for help which immediately caught his attention.

When he saw the bison king chasing after two beautiful women, Jiang Ming was shocked as well.

Just when he was still daydreaming, the bison king had already caught up to both the beauties. Then it gave a strong nudge and immediately killed the fiery beauty. The innocent beauty that remained was so scared that she fell to the ground.

The bison king seemed to have no mercy as it raised its front hooves towards Snowy Dust who was sitting on the ground. If the bison really stepped on her, she would definitely be dead.

Snowy Dust started trembling and as she saw the huge hooves that were coming towards her; she screamed out loud with a face filled with fear. She closed her eyes and tried to block it with her arms.

Then, something happened that confused her. She screamed for a really long time but she didn't feel any pain and wasn't transported back to the starting point. So she decided to slowly open her eyes to see what was happening.

The moment she opened her eyes, a dazzling light hit her face and she couldn't help but squint her eyes. Through a tiny gap,there was a tall figure standing right in front of her holding on to a bronze sword that was pierced into the body of the bison king.
