Chapter 25

I hopped happily in the hallway the next morning. How could I not? I felt ecstatic. Drew makes me happy in ways I could never have imagined.. I've never felt so free with someone before

I accidentally bumped into Amber and Tiffany

''Oops sorry'' I giggled

''What is up with you?'' Tiffany asked confusedly

I did a little spin

''Oh nothing' I sighed ''Its such a lovely day''

Tiffany and Amber looked at each other in confusion then back at me.

''Leslie told you everything, didn't she?'' Tiffany asked

''Yup''

''How bad do you wanna kill us?'' Amber groaned

''I'm not mad, just disappointed. I thought you guys were my friends''

I wasn't angry. I knew they were fake all along but what surprised me was the length they went to try to pull me down

''We're sorry'' Amber apologized

''It's just I was so jealous of you. You seem so perfect so I did everything I could to bring you down'' Tiffany admitted

''Can we start over?'' Amber suggested

''Me, you, Amber and Leslie. We could all be friends'' Tiffany added

I thought about it for a moment. There's no use holding grudges. If I could forgive Leslie. I could forgive them too

''Well..... ''

I threw a fry into Amber's mouth which she caught

''Score!'' I raised my fists to the air in victory

We laughed.

By 'we' I mean, Amber, Tiffany, Leslie and I

''This is so gonna go viral'' Leslie said

''I know right'' Tiffany replied 'everyone is staring'

I shrugged

''Let them''

Honestly, I felt like my life was taking a positive turn. Its like a breath of fresh air

''So.... '' Amber started ''You won the bet. You can break up with psychopath now''

''Uh about that''

That isn't going to happen

''Oh no" Amber stared at me "You like him, don't you?''

''Yeah''

''I knew it''

''Hey Bella I wanna know something'' Tiffany whispered leaning in

We all leaned in

''Why are you whispering?'' I asked her

''For special effects''

''You're so dramatic'' I rolled my eyes

''Can I ask?''

''Sure''

''Is he good.. In you know... In bed''

''We haven't had sex yet''

''Oh'' she sounded disappointed

I scoffed

"We've been dating for like two days. What the hell do you expect?"

She shrugged

"I don't know"

''But we have intense make out sessions that leave me wet'' I wiggled my eyebrows

We giggled

''I bet he's a virgin'' Amber said

That could be possible

''I hope not. I haven't even seen him all day'' I pouted.

I'm starting to miss him

''Me neither. Has anyone seen him?" Leslie asked

Tiffany and Amber shook their heads

I pouted again

''I miss him'' I whined

''Oh no'' Leslie groaned "here we go"

''My parents want to meet him''

Tiffany choked on her spaghetti.

Leslie spat out her juice.

Amber dropped her phone

''What?!" They shrieked at the same time

Everyone turned their attention to us. I clapped my hands

''Alright people. Nothing to see here''

They went back to their normal positions. Bunch of nosey ass people

''How did they hear about you guys?'' Tiffany asked

''My brother couldn't keep his mouth shut''

''When do they wanna meet him?" Amber chipped in

''Sunday night for dinner''

''Does he know?'' Leslie asked

''Yup. He's not happy about it either''

''You're screwed'' she shook her head

I rolled my eyes

I took a puff of my cigarette as I stared into the sky. Silently, I thought about a present to get for Bella.

''Great''

I calculated my wage mentally but it wasn't good enough to get me a present for her. I only get paid 100 dollars a week from working two jobs and some of the money goes into groceries and other stuff.

I don't even know what to get her on her birthday. I ran my hands through my hair in frustration. Bella is one of the most sought after girls in town. She could get any guy she wants in a heartbeat, The only thing I can offer her fully is my heart but of what use is it to her?

''Babe!''

I looked up to see her running towards me. I quickly grabbed a textbook from my bag pretending to read it.

She sat next to me on the grass

''Hey babe''

She leaned in and kissed me

''I haven't seen you all day" She whined "I missed you''

''Sorry. Just been struggling with math lately. I skipped my classes so I can have a better look at it''

''Oh. Do you understand it now?''

''Nope. None of it makes sense''

''How bout you come over tomorrow. I'll help you''

''A day before dinner. You think that's a good idea?''

''Don't worry, my parents won't be home''

''Thanks''

''I'll call you when I'm back. I'm going out with Leslie''

I just felt like a light-bulb appeared on my head from the idea I just got.

''Hello! Earth to Drew'' Bella snapped her fingers in my face

I snapped out of it

''Yeah sure. I gotta go. I'll see you later'' I hurriedly packed all my things into my school bag

''Where are you go... ''

Before she could finish, I ran to school on a quest to find Leslie. I ran through the hallway till I found her drinking water at the tap

"Leslie!'' I called

She looked surprised. She looked sideways making sure it was her I called

''Me?''

''Yes you" I nodded "I need your help''
