CHAPTER TEN
"Aw damn it, they went back into the mansion." Junior complained. "Come Junior stop your complaining, you're the only one who knows how to kill a banshee." "No I'm not, you know how to kill them as well last I remember." "Yeah but you're the professional, now come and let's go save your client." Tori said as her and Àine headed towards the mansion, Junior sighed.
Robert's bedroom
"I regret killing you darling, pls forgive me and move on to the afterlife." Robert begged the banshee but the banshee screamed and said. "You think a simple regret is enough to make me forgive you pig of a man." The banshee started to wail. "You killed me, your loving wife for a business." The bedroom started to shake violently and her voice filled the whole mansion and she released a strong amount of ghost pressure that made the atmosphere heavy to walk or breath.
As Junior and the others got closer to the top staircase, the ghost pressure hit them like a psychic blast, they all fell to their knees. Unable to talk physically they had to communicate through their psychic link. "Damn it Junior!" Tori yelled. "Don't you "damn it Junior!" me, she's just an angry, vengeful wife and I'm quite tired of this." Junior fussed back and concentrated on his psychic pressure, suddenly they all was able to move. "Come on I only put a pressure barrier around us, let's hurry." Junior said, as the trio bust through the door, there stood the banshee choking the life out of Robert. "You took my life Robert, something you and I was supposed to be living together." The banshee cried, Junior looked at the banshee more closely, her white skin,white hair, torn white dress. Her eyes glowed a dangerous yellow color, tears flowed from them freely. Tears of sadness, being robbed of her life over a selfish deed and Junior understood her pain. The room's atmosphere went back to normal and Junior dropped his barrier. "What the hell are you doing?" Tori and Àine said in unison. The detective didn't really know what he was doing either his only idea is to reason with the banshee. The banshee screamed causing the whole mansion to shake and Mr. Langley to pass out. Tori readied her dagger and waited for the right moment to strike.
