CHAPTER THIRTY SEVEN Short Chapter

Witch Covenant

"Agnes Lord Dracus is dead!" Hilda almost yelled but managed to control her before the others heard. "Apparently Lord Dracus and some other warlocks interfered in a battle between the detective and the Troll King no doubt the King was after the bounty." Anges replied. "I know about the interference Hilda it was I that sent Lord Dracus and the other warlocks, though I never expected this outcome it seems the detective and his team are skilled. Not to mention the half-blood they have with him that child Zevrij holds power that's close to a demon, if not equal and he's knowledgeable about witches and others he's a threat to us. As for Lord Dracus his death shall not go unanswered the detective has weaseled his way through our magic, but he'll be to late for the trials." Agnes explained but Hilda did not agree but answered. "Yes my queen the trials shall be out vengeance upon humans." Hilda left her queens side headed towards her room not to prepare for the trials but, to mourn her lover and father of her child but no witch nor warlock knew about that. The hallway was lit with candles while the windows gave a great view with the moon shining through. Hilda snapped her finger and all the curtains covered their windows dimming the hallway, a few young witches walked by. "Thanks for closing the curtains it gives the Sanctuary a creepy comforting feeling." The tall blonde witch said. "Can't wait until the festival goodnight Lady Hilda." The mid height brunette witch said. "Goodnight witches." Hilda spoke back but never looked their way and as she passed the other witches room, she heard some and the rest was sleep as she continued to walk and a minute later she was at two way. The left led to her room and the right led to the library and Hilda chose the library yo be her sanctuary. Once in the library Hilda went into a study room closing the door behind her and sat down, she cried and cried all night thinking about the death of her love. Agnes watched Hilda cry through her mirror no remorse for what she did, in fact she did it on purpose knowing that Hilda and Dracus was in a relationship. Her next focus was Hilda's daughter Sera who was also apart of the witch trials.

Somewhere in Salem...

Junior and his put together team was camping in the same forest the battle took place. "The cloaks was a good idea father I never knew you had so many." Tori said to her father who watching Àine and her clones build a tree tent. It was huge in size has it was connected to various tree parts with ropes. "Alrighty Laddies come on up the tent is done and yes it's very safe we're at least one hundred feet in the air. Us fairies love tree tents they're cozy." Àine assured. "Well at least we won't have to worry about hungry beard." Takashi said looking around a little nervous. "Bears? Takashi you still have a fear of bears attacking you in your sleep? I mean the bear thought you was a cub haha you came out unharmed." Junior said as he started to levitate himself upwards and the others did the same, on their way up they saw little orbs of lights on certain part of the tent like a attic. At the top of the was the entrance a curtain with orbs of lights around it. "Tori you have one special fairy friend." Alfred said to his daughter. "I know right I would trade her in for nothing in this world." Tori replied on as they entered the tent and inside was truly in amazing, five wooden chairs with cushions made from leaves await them, the floor of the tent was made from real carpet. "Real carpet, Àine how did you get a hold to carpet? We're in the middle of the woods." Junior asked. "Hey! Don't question her at least we won't have to sleep on branches." Tori answered Junior just dropped his head. "Well she told you" Takashi laughed as he sat down and Alfred was asleep already in his chair. " Well lads it's seems today has taken a toll on you father." Àine yawned. "Oh my it seems I'm tried also I guess we can call it a night." Àine said and looked over to see the siblings already asleep. Àine snapped her fingers and the orbs of light went off and she used her elemental powers to move the branches. The branches covered the whole tent making an impenetrable fortress, Àine can finally sleep and as soon as she sat down she went straight to sleep.
