What a Night

Luo Yi swam, blinking her eye as she awakened from the depths of sleep, as a thick beam of pale light flashed across her eye again --she had forgotten to close the draperies before she went to sleep-- coaxing her from the deep, dreamless depths.

Or not.

She groaned and pressed her face into the mattress, in an attempt to escape the lights. It did not matter whether she was a vampire or not, morning light hit the strongest.

She chuckled inside, even as human before, she hated waking up with sunlight in her eyes.

Screwing her eye shut, Luo Yi rubbed her nose into the sheets, she finally became aware of that annoying and numbing feeling that occured due to sleeping on wrinkled fabric that imprinted in her pale skin.

Shifting in faint aggravation, she kicked off the blanket that was wrapped around her, she must have been in a battle zone in her sleep, as sweats covered her body, making her clothes stick to her like a second skin.
