A few minutes earlier, above Never Return Chasm, Sparrow Lord appeared next to the lightning dagger at the edge of the chasm.

He let an exasperated sigh before retrieving all of his daggers with a wave of his hand. He floated up in the air, but before he made his way back to see the result of the battle, he noticed a black figure running straight across the devastated forest.

"Dark Sun? Their main force has arrived?" Sparrow Lord concluded the situation in a flash after recognizing that figure's identity.

When Xiu Yao saw him hovering above the ground with no one else present at the scene, he turned solemn: "Where is Feng Luotian?"

"Hmph!!" Sparrow Lord disappeared without answering. He did not even try to take down Xiu Yao before leaving because he had no time to deal with another prodigy. One was enough for the day.
