Three days since the battle with Hornet Fortress, a week since Divine Bird City had changed of its ruler.

At first, the citizen were shocked by this sudden change. However, with Peacock Lord's full cooperation, everything was handled smoothly without any more casualties. The tense atmosphere still lingered but the situation allowed them to get accustomed to the new rules.

There were a few transformations to the city.

The first transformation was the birth of a new division called "Enforcer" that would be responsible for cleaning the city of the rebels, if any.

This enforcer had a higher authority than the city guard since they would be working directly under Sparrow Lord's command. This division was led by Sikong clan's Supreme Elder, Sikong Jing.

Wen Jingyi, who was the city guard captain one week ago, was demoted to the vice captain, whereas the man named Xie Zhong became the new city guard captain that very night.
