Chapter 06

Xiao Ning'er was walking towards her home thinking about her encounter and talks with Ban.

She was surprised herself as she talked a lot with Ban, in normal time she was more reserved and almost never talked to anybody except her father and Ye Ziyun her best friend. She got a little sad remembering her but quickly shook off that feeling.

She felt very good with Ban. It reminded her of the times when She was with Ziyun and she would have fun every day but, since her Arranged marriage, she seemed to forget exactly what fun was. It's hasn't been a week since so many things happened in her life. Her arrange marriage, breaking off ties with Ziyun, meeting ban.

After so many things she finally enjoyed her day with ban today. So, she was quite reluctant to separate her way from Ban but he said that they could meet up tomorrow in the same place. So she was looking forward tomorrow. And maybe he can train her too...'No don't be hasty Ning'er, have patience. You are not the type of girl to use someone for benefits.' she told herself.

With Ban, he was inside his Inn thinking about today's events, "Hehe second part of plan successful. Man that was a nice move, the look on her face when i told her about where I come from...was of sympathy. That's exactly what I wanted girls always likes to mend broken things. And someone like me with a sad past will surely get her attention, curiosity, sympathy and slowly love. Well now for few days I'll have to take it slowly to make her more curious." he thought and laughed.

After a while he had his dinner and again played a song from his pod...this time it was 22 life by Rude on spotify.

A month passed quickly.

Ban was surfing the shop in his system....

"Okay then buy the quincy artifact, as it works on reishi (soul power....bs tbh) it'll be useful to Ning'er I'll give this to her as a parting gift...he bought Kojaku (The basic bow).

Man I don't have much shop points left, after buying the shikai of Kazeshini i thought I could get the bankai myself without spending points but now It seems impossible. Well guess I'll have to leave soon....and before that, Also buy an asauchi." he said.

This past month he have trained like crazy spending his points like water and gaining many hado, kido, hoho arts. And now he was running low on points after buying the Quincy artifact.

Ban stood up, it was almost time to meet up with Xiao Ning'er so he left the Inn and started walking towards Their meeting spot.

He truly enjoyed her company and contrary to her "Ice cold" personality portrayed in the manga, she was nice if you know her a little bit.

He quickly arrived to his destination and saw Xiao Ning'er who was waiting for him.

"Hi" he said simply.

"Hi" she responded.

She was quite shy and could not talk too much even if she appreciates his company, she was only 11 after all and except for her Father she never talked to males before.

Ban simply lay down on the herb by her side.

The two were relaxing in silence while watching clouds, from time to time they would chat about their daily lives.

"It seem that you are famous in the city, I heard your name yesterday. How should I call you "Kid in black or The Deathly mask" ?" Said Ning'er with a smile.

Ban laughed it off, as people started calling him nicknames when they saw him hunting so many strong beasts and exchanging it for money. He didn't bought an interspatial ring, because he wanted to carry the beasts to show off.....and he always wore his Shinigami clothes hence the nickname Kid in black and the other name because he haven't shown his face as he wears the hollow mask...

"Well you aren't any less famous, what was it again...ahh yeah Wild beauty...hm?" he said as he looked towards her.

Feeling his gaze Xiao Ning'er blushed a little, as she tilted her head to the side.

"Don't make fun of me !" She said shyly.

Ban just laughed lightly at her reaction.

"Say Ban, can I ask you a question ?" Asked Xiao Ning'er hopefully, "You can" he responded curtly.

"Do you have family ?" She asked looking towards him.

Ban didn't showed any special reaction to the question, he kept his eyes closed seemingly unperturbed.

"I had a little Sister, her name is Kilia ." He responded with a solemn tone.

Xiao Ning'er was surprised at first but then became sad , he only had a little sister ? What about the rest ? And his little sister's name was strange too, do they all have strange names in the place where he comes from?

She didn't question any further.

"What was the Skill/technique before ? Which you always use and vanish so quickly !" She asked.

"It's name is Shunpo or Flash Steps, I can't tell you how it works or it's won't be funny anymore." He said lightly.

"Hmfph, I didn't ask you anything about how it works!" She harrumphed and turned her head to another direction again.

"Good then." He said amused by her reaction.

6 months and 3 weeks later.

"Alright it's time..." Ban thought as he left his Inn.

His progress with Xiao Ning'er has been very good too, he was 100% sure that in those 7 months of interaction he have left a shadow in her heart that will keep her away from Nie li even while he won't be present. He needed to leave to collect points and get other Zanpakutos...because when the plot starts he wont have time to leave for hunting.

He have also taught her few skills, like shunpo, few hado techniques, Zanjutsu and Hoho. He also gave her an asauchi and told her the stuff from bleach world like how to train and unlock shikai and bankai and increase soul power. He also made her promise to not disclose his identity to anyone and how she learned all the stuff from.

Meanwhile Xiao Ning'er was thinking of her arranged marriage, and to save herself from the clutches sacred family she needed strength...

Absolute strength.

Otherwise It will be impossible for her to get rid of that marriage, and sacred family wont take it lightly if she didn't marry Shen fei that bastard.

She thought about Ban too and how he made her happy these 8 months. He also told her to make new friends...he said she didn't need to have Many friends but having one or two is always good, as humans are social beings they need to interact.

She listened to his words, and found her new best friend Xiao Xue she wasn't like Ziyun not like Ziyun was bad or anything but she connected more with Xue then she did with Ziyun. Ziyun could be said to be a good friend meanwhile xue the best friend.

"I wonder if he will be angry if he came to know that I will marry..." she thought..."I just need to explain that it's forced and it mean nothing."

She didn't knew why but she felt the need to explain it to Ban for clearing out the misunderstanding.
