Chapter 45

With a puff William vanished from his spot.

In the next moment he appeared inside a stone chamber.

Then suddenly the violent currents of space started assaulting him.

"Hmph"

Using his tyrannical body, William pushed away the restraints and blasted the stone door open.

He blasted through every door or wall that came in his way.

Then suddenly an old voice resounded in his head.

"Please stop at this rate you will end up destroying the Profound ark...."

William stopped himself from demolishing the next wall as he said in a plain voice.

"Are you the guardian spirit guarding this place?"

"How did you know----"

"Talk less, just tell me where your little mistress is I'm here to wake her up."

William said with a righteous smile on his face.

The voice fell silent after hearing what William said.

Then it said after releasing a sigh.

"Unfortunately you are not the one I was waiting fir, you are unable to save the young mistress as you do not posses the sky poison pearl......please leave."

William was shocked when he heard her words.

That's because he totally didn't remember that waking up that sword spirit requires the sky poison pearl.

The small detail completely slipped out of his mind.

The more William thought about it the more frustrated he became.

It was an old lady with white hair and aged face which looked to be just moments away from death.

"So she's right under here?", William asked having completely ignored her sad background story.

Using his hands William tore open the entire floor revealing the crystal coffin inside.

Inside the crystal coffin William saw a little girl sleeping peacefully without a care in the world.

He felt that it was a pity that he wasted his time and money here.

The old ghost kept complaining about how unfair the world was.

But her sentence managed to catch William's attention.

Not minding her, William threw away the cover and stared straight at the little girl's face.

Then the aura of the devilish poison surrounded the little girl as black lines started forming innher sleeping face.

"Noooo! bastard how could you! Young mistree, no!!!"

The old lady tried to rush upto the sleeping young girl but couldn't even get close due to the devilish aura being excluded from the little girl's body.

The little girl's face suddenly changed colours as blood started dropping out from her skin.

'It hurts!'

The little girl wanted to shout but the pain made her unable to even produce a single sound.

After a long....long time she once again regained consciousness only to be greeted by the soul shattering pain.

But then she suddenly felt a warm hand touch her face.

"It's fine."

The pain started decreasing.

"Don't worry....."

The Black lines on her face started disappearing.

"I promise it won't hurt anymore...."

Her eye lids quivered as ahe looked at the blurry figure of a person standing in front of her.

"It won't hurt so...."

Her vision cleared as she saw the face of a young child with red fiery red hair.

"....Won't you join my familia?....."

Her gaze was fixated on the black lines quickly spreading all over his face.

Droplets of tears formed at the corners of her eyes as she said in a quivering voice.

"i---i don't k-know what a familia is little brother b-but I will join it......"

"That's great."

The little girl's eyes shook when she saw the smile on the boy's face.

'How'

'Just how can you smile like that while enduring such pain?...'

'Is it because of me?.....'

Raising her hand she reached out to touch William.

"Little brother d-doesn't it h-hurt?"

"Well a little bit yes."

Just as her hand touched his cheek.

*Crack*

Numerous cracks formed on William body as he broke down and scattered everywhere.

"Noooooo"

The little girl shouted in grief as she struggled and forcefully jumped out of the coffin to reach for the boy.

She didn't even know how he was but his actions touched her heart.

She couldn't stop tears from flowing out of her eyes as she broke down crying.

Even the old woman's ghost was left shocked by the sudden turns of events.

While the little girl was crying her eyes out.

*Tap*

A small hand tapped her shoulder.

She instinctively turned her head but then her body froze by what she saw.

"Hey you agreed to being a part of my familia right? you can't go back on your words now..."

"Little brother!..... you're alive!!!!!"

"Hey hey who are you calling little brother? it's God for you."

"Little brother!"

"I said God! Repeat after me say G-o-d!"
