The war continues unabated on the continent of Datkar. After my release two years ago, I have devoted my time to study and research the archives obtained by my mentor and his companions thanks to the fall of the Vatican to distract myself from everything. We discovered some of the research and project that were carried out in the underground facilities. It was between surprise and horror to realize that they had been experimenting and torturing the prisoners for millennia, not only they but the countries allied to the former Orsys had their own hidden investigation programs.

Everything to bring a super soldier to life. An indestructible spawn capable of advancing a war without batting an eyelid while liquidating enemies and allies without feeling hunger or pain. The reasons why, are still uncertain. We continue in the search.

I have been traveling the world for more than three years at the request of my late mentor. His indications were clear: the key is in the ruins of Monarch. The problem is that the ruins of that town are found on all continents. Finding it will be a problem as they hid from Crystal Clouds more than two thousand years ago to avoid being exterminated. Despite having made a deal with a god, that fact does not assure me of a favorable long-term success rate as I also have to deal with the invasion of a plague of unknown origin, on most of the planet Pyuk. We know that they go from region to region devouring without mercy or rest all the life in their path and where they laid their voracious hunger they would no longer be able to host life of any kind ever.

That distinctive feature was known to identify the Leyhams but this plague was very different. They are not afraid of water and have even been seen savagely attacking the manastones or water lacrima and then pouncing on their victims.

The plague has spread to an irreversible point. Infected people drastically change their appearance and physical structure. They begin to stoop until they are hairless, their limbs are extended into claws, their eyes widen and harden, they look as if they have no eyelids, nothing further away. They have a transparent double eyelid that they adapted to see in the dark and hunt more efficiently.

Their skin has adhered to the bones to give them a metallic red color, their skulls are deformed to make room for a large mouth with a tongue of approximately five feet, which serves as a weapon, with sharp teeth that harbor paralyzing poison as well. than saliva. At first the plague seemed to slow down as the sightings ceased only to appear multiplied in Verdix, the lands of the elves, west of the now extinct Krim. The survivors managed to name them "Smiley", because that disgusting smile falls on their faces when they attack the unwary.

The smiley ones have adapted and evolved for the worse. Now they can camouflage themselves among us and have reason. A new war raged against him four years ago, but ended in failure with the fall of the fortress of Novoa, Winterhill and Karjun. Shelters, shelters and forts are disappearing. Lira was able to get the last supplies in the now extinct country of Lucasnica. You could say irony, since the plague arose from there to spread to the whole world and I did not believe it possible to return to a hole like this ever again.

The current war became among the survivors for the scarcest resource: Water. A single bottle made them want to gut you with sticks and stones. This is the punishment we must bear for someone else's terrible sin.

The smiley ones have evolved to generate castes and a kind of government for their benefit. They created concentration camps and farms with the beings that were left in this world. For fuel and energy, they fed on them. Reproduction was forced and even both males and females are used to store the offspring of this pest inside.

The strongest only serve as labor and many of them are mutilated and marked as cattle with a specific quality for certain ranges. They are just numbers and nothing else. We have joined a surviving group of various races in order to escape the end of time. We could only see this eternal delirium absorbed, undecided, open-mouthed, as if the gods in the rain were crying over their mistake. Now there are only slaves, those who hide, the forgotten, the invisible. It has been so long since we have seen the sun shine as in those summers I knew in my youth.

The greenness of the fields, the trees, the animals is a rarity that no longer exists because what little there is was degenerated. How was it possible to end like this, we ended the world and now we regret it.

Before, we could survive hunting leyhams to take over their nests. We turned them into shelters and we avoided the Smiles, living underground. We were attacked and, I ended up injured. My head has a throbbing pain ever since from the sharp blow, I received from my lack of caution.

When I opened my eyes my travel companions were still there, although Bootes looked devastated, I suppose it is because we lost everything and only the three of us survived. The path we traveled was between corpses, broken skulls and ashes of those we once knew in life.

The hostile environment has become toxic due to the Smiles' arrogance. The little light we receive illuminates the gloom of this lonely and ruined world. What we still have to do is go urgently to the Gray Strip. An abandoned land and strangely the only place to which the Smiles, the Leyham and no one in their right mind have no access because they will end up dead by spontaneous combustion. Here lies the last bastion left by Monarch.

The response we expected from Crystal Clouds was delivered by Bootes: They will not cooperate, they will only wait for our extinction and then eliminate the plague. They will use the planet as a warehouse or barn. It is very clear that those sons of bitches have no emotion whatsoever, they have even left one of their own with us.

From the ruins we visited we were able to obtain the access key. Lira rose higher into the air to fit the key into the lock. Vergina's 20mm gold star-shaped plate was enlarged into a half-mile hologram over the Gray Strip and it split in half, exposing a stairway down. We went downstairs and the door opened and closed again as we heard the earth close on us.

The automatically lit corridor showed engravings in an ancient and unknown language that we can strangely decode and they told the origin of the leyhams by the hand of the beings of this world. The anger and resentment that emerged from the reading was abysmal.

Leyhams were failed replicas created by the Aleron sect of something called the Cosmic Explorer using the inhabitants of this world as guinea pigs. The treachery with which they were created was only to open the Interworld door, attract this creature and her comrades to end up destroying and devouring everything in its path.

The key to Intereworld lies in the brightest star and in the hands of someone named "The one who waits dreaming" and Monarch was the registry and the largest laboratory ever created for that purpose.

Today is our last day at Monarca. The place turned out to be a preferable refuge outside. We will separate to continue investigating the remains of the other Monarchs and to find those responsible for creating the Smiles and the Leyhams.

Aleron must continue to do his thing behind the scenes as we found vestiges of them near the continent of Ice. There are three of us left standing in this endless war and I hope to meet again to spend our last years together. I pray to the gods that it is so and if it does not become I hope to see them in the afterlife and for the better.

This travel blog is from those who have survived the killing and hunting that has loomed over this world, until we could find the answer to why. These are the memories that I have decided to keep at the suggestion of my mentor, to serve as a tool for those who still stand in this hell. I hope it can be useful and that you know part of our history.

I say goodbye until a next meeting.
