I want a new cell phone.

Since Michael was a child, even before he could walk, his parents rarely stayed with him. They just left a credit card and Adam to take care of him. Sometimes, they called Adam to ask if Michael was all right. Apart from that, they hardly shared any important conversation.

His childhood was marked by solitude and days without affection. In the past, before he knew Gabby, he was always cold. He would only open his mouth to eat, yawn, and answer casually.

Adam thought that if Michael hadn't known Gabby, he must've kept his childhood attitude. Michael's parents didn't even notice it.

"You can come out now," Michael said coldly, putting Adam's cellphone on his desk.

Adam opened and closed his mouth several times, not knowing what to say. After he felt his lips dry, the man nodded his head and took his cellphone out with him.
