CHAPTER TWENTY NINE

Daisy's POV

        "You're back?" My mom asked surprised. She didn't expect me to be back home so soon after I told her I was paying a visit to Lily. 

        "Yes mom," I replied walking into my room.

      "Is everything okay? How is Lily?" She asked concerned with the way I was looking. 

        "She's fine," I answered then banged the door to my room plopping into my bed. 

        I shouldn't have done that. I shouldn't have walked out on Lily. I knew she was going through something. She looked different. She looked fragile. I should have taken my time to talk to her calmly but I was going through a lot too. After my break up with Rayyan, which Lily doesn't even know about, I just needed someone to talk to. I needed my best friend but she always seemed so distant. I had no one to talk to. I wish things could go back to how they used to be before. We used to tell each other everything and anything without hesitation.
