Chapter 14: Lucy Heartfilia

I look back as Natsu walks away, but he doesn't turn back. I worry about him. I wish I could help him. It doesn't take long before we are back at the Guild Hall.

"Hey, sorry Lucy," Everyone says at the same time. I have to force a smile. I look at Levy, she knows and I see the tears fill her eyes a bit. I wink at her telling her I am going to try and get at least that back.

"Are you okay?" Sting asks.

"I am fine, sorry for making you worry," I answer.

I can't believe that my family has waited for me all three years, and they are all alive. I notice that Gramps isn't up from.

"Welcome back, Lucy," Mira announces. I feel something bubble up. I open up and laugh. Tears slide roughly down my face. Three years have gone by sense I have laugh. I know it sounds the same but to me this is something to rejoice. The tears I haven't been able to have finally show up as well. I still can't smile for really but it looks like there is some hope.

"Lucy?" Everyone except Levy ask in worry.

"She's fine guys, just happy."Levy answers for me.

"Okay," Juvia says, "Also, I have gotten better. My speech is no longer Juvia this, Juvia that."

"Holy Cow, that is awesome. I am so glad, Juvia," I learn all about what I missed and how many times they looked all of Fiore for me."

Natsu walks in. He grabs me and tilts my head up to his. Then kisses me.

"Lucy, I want to tell you something important," Natsu had said long ago.

I guess he wanted me to know he loves me. I kiss him back. Cheers sound the room. Gramps walks to the front and also cheers.

After the kiss, Natsu says, "Lucy, never ever do that again. I can't lose you."

"Okay, I won't. I promise," I tells him.
