Marinette Dupain-Cheng in love with Adrien Agreste, finally decides to tell him the truth about how she feels. Adrien tells her that he loves someone else and can't return her feelings. She tells her parents and Alya. She spends a week in her room and doesn't leave. Her mother brings her food but she loses her appetite. So when she goes back to school, she is different and Alya gets Akumatized. 

What happens to Marinette? How does she change? What happens when they found out they actually love each other the entire time? Will Marinette accept Adrien after what he has done?

Akumatized, Reveal, and Marinette

.... Adrien. Chat is Adrien? Impossible. But everything adds up. As much as I want to hide the fact, I can't help but know the truth. Why him?


"Ladybug, isn't coming. Just like Adrien couldn't ever be there for my sweet Marinette. Ladybug must hate her just as much as the rest of the people. They changed her. They killed the sweet and kind Marinette. This time though, I am not going to let anyone get her. She has me, her best friend now. That is all she will ever need." Alya/Shattered Image says. I want to cry out. I want to tell him that I am Ladybug. I just need to get free.


"Well, I guess that you overlooked something. Ladybug will come, and I care about Marinette. I know how hard things can get when you feel like no one cares. But I promise someone cares. Marinette has changed peoples lives for the better. So don't tell me that no one cares." Chat Noir yells back. Wait, but Adrien doesn't care about me. Or does he?


No he can't care. He rejected me. Chat Noir goes to attack to try and get me out of her grasp. He must have put two and two together. I need to get free. Or I'll have to do something that I promised not to do. I will not be able to be Ladybug anymore if Hawkmoth finds out who I am. I just have to hope that Chat Noir can get me out of this situation. 


Alya/Shattered Image goes to grab Chats baton but he dodges. I have to think. I need to find out where the akumatized object is, so I can deakumatize her sooner. I look at her and see that her glasses have stayed as glasses. Meaning that her glasses are probably the akumatized object. I grab for her glasses. She dodges and lets go of me. I make a run for it. Chat gets in the way of Alya/Shattered Image.


I hide in a closet. I see Tikki and transform, "Tikki, Spots on."


Running out, I call out to Chat Noir, "Hey Chaton, Is the girl okay. Sorry I am late."


"She is going to be okay. What kept you?" Chat Noir asks.


"I got stuck in a sticky situation. I was trying to get here as soon as I can. How about we finish this." He nods in agreement, "Lucky Charm."


A piece of string floats down towards my hand. A lasso maybe. I create a lasso out of the string and I wrap it around her glasses. I pulled them off and try to break them. But they wouldn't break. I toss them to Chat Noir, and he calls out, "Cataclysm."


He destroys the glasses and the akuma comes out.


"Time to de-evilize. Gotcha." I say as my yo yo closes to purify the akuma. Then I open it again. "bye bye, little butterfly."


Chat smiles at me and I look at Alya who has returned to normal. I throw the string in the air, "Miraculous Ladybug."


Everything else goes back to normal, "Pound it." Beep, Beep. "I go to go, bug out."


I leave just in time. I transform in the closet that I had hid in. I hear footsteps coming down the hallway. "Marinette, where are you?"


It's Alya. I open the closet door and she pulls me close and cries. I see Adrien over her shoulder, and he notices. He mouths, 'We need to talk.' I nod a no. I am not going to fall for that trick. He will only hurt me again. But heck, I know he is Chat Noir. I think he deserves to know that I know.
