Weird

Sora, Takako and Izumi is currently stuck inside a karaoke bar, it's because the rain got even heavier than before.

"Tch if I had known I would have insisted on taking a ride on Chifuyu-neesan's car." Sora said, grumbling about the matter.

"Look whose talking now?.. if it isn't for you we would be on our houses taking a nice warm bath right now!" Takako refuted, seeing Sora all grumpy.

It's true though, a while ago while the rain was still tolerable although a little heavy, Sora insisted on going inside a coffee shop to drink some coffee cause it's still early, and there are a lot of people inside Takako argued with Sora to leave because it's too crowded, but Sora was insistent and won't budge even Izumi can't do anything but watch.

After a while of waiting for their coffee, it's finally their turn, the gang quickly ordered and left the coffee shop delighted, but just as they were about to turn to the next street the rain poured down hard like a bucket of water being splashed by God, and now they're stuck infront of a Karaoke bar.

"uhm... it's not to bad too right?" Izumi said shyly, she paused a little and continues.

"Didn't Sora-kun said he is going to say something and invited us to go to a dinner tonight?... But I think there will be no restaurants whose gonna open tonight... and we're right infront of a karaoke bar isn't it perfect for a get together thing?" Izumi said all that with a lowered head feeling the gaze from the other two towards her, she felt that she said something wrong and tried to apologise.

"B... but only if you g... guys like t... the ide—" she was about to continue, instead she saw Sora nod his head like a woodpecker.

"That's right! we can enter and let the rain loose a little and we can talk inside while having fun!" Sora said with excitement, giving Izumi his thumbs up.

"*sigh..." Takako just nods and followed the idiot Sora inside tailing behind Izumi and Sora.

They got a karaoke room that's good for five people and sure enough it's really big for them, and Sora who has a little bit of spare money he got ordered tons of food along side with some wine.

"aren't you getting a little extravagant today Sora kun?... I- I mean... aren't you should use the money for medical expenses... I have some money with me I can chip in some of it." Izumi said to Sora seeing him ordering so many things.

"I can chip in some money too... I mean uncle needed it and you can't keep working two part-time jobs while also getting focused on your studies." Takako added feeling a little sad for Sora, she often saw him working many part-time jobs to get enough money every month for his father, and if that money he earns can't reach the cap he would vent some of his stress by punching a wall, then going to his step sister for addtional money though a little hesitant about it.

Takako saw it all when she followed him back one time to give him his assignments that Takako took from him to lessen some workload.

She sighed again and was about to take her wallet out to pull out some money but was stopped by Sora.

"I wouldn't be this galant to anyone, also you don't have to be worried I already quit my job and earned enough money for some expenses and dad's surgery... oh! I am supposed to tell you about that later... my bad haha" Sora saw there expression earlier and felt the warmth in his heart, he laughed at himself and then comforted them, then sat down to choose a song while waiting for the food to arrive.

After a couple of minutes, while Sora and the others are singing songs the waiters arrive like a caravan carrying tray after tray and about five of them came in, hands full on both hands. They then placed the food down the center table and get out.

Sora stopped singing and sat down on the floor crossed leg, he then watched both Izumi and Takako sing, smiling occasionally as he saw Izumi sang embarrassed though he can feel some weird atmosphere around the two he felt they got a long pretty well.

While Sora was thinking that Takako sang a while and stopped, smelling the food in the air as her stomach grumble the same as to Izumi who shyly look down towards the ground.

"Let's eat... your stomachs are hungry and are grumbling I heard not eating can make your breath smell." Sora said though a little teasingly, because he has to wait for them for a couple of minutes for them to finished singing, he is hungry too but as courtesy he stopped himself and waited quietly for them so they can eat together at the same time.

"You have a bad breath anyway why bother thinking about it haha!" Takako said refuting back and sat down at right side of Sora, while Izumi just quietly sat down on the left of Sora.

They then started eating savagely except Izumi who's putting food to Sora's food constantly every time it's about to be finished. She too poured wine for the three of them.

"Izumi's gonna be a pretty good candidate for a wife... why can't Takako have some of that feminine side*sigh*" Sora said sighing sadly and felt grateful to have Izumi as his girlfriend.

Takako heard him and pinch his thigh before snorting.

"Hmp! Then why don't you put some muscles on and be more masculine, then before saying I need to be more feminine" Takako angrily chewed her food and was upset to what Sora said, she's considering it though.

Izumi giggled at their interaction and put more food to Sora than her own plate feeling more motivated than before.

"whoa! HAHA Izumi you might have—" Sora was about to continue when he heard Takako talk.

"What's your going to tell us about though... even if I know it's something good because what's a celebration without a cause right?" Takako said a little worried for him because as Sora said a couple of hours ago he found the money for his dad's medical expenses and a little more for himself to spend, she's afraid he might have sold his kidneys or something.

"oh right! HAHA I was distracted by the food... sorry" Sora said scratching the back of his head before continuing. "I actually invested on many startup companies a couple of months back, my couple of years of hard earned money from my two big jars that are only feeded with money when I have extra every after I paid the medical expenses were my base money. I actually at first was skeptical to give my money away to gamble but to God's luck and guidance the companies became successful over the months and my money grew and grew, and after I got my money back when the contract ends I already got nearly 30 mil. just from my 300k start. HAHA I'm pretty lucky aren't I, I basically became a millionaire in a couple of months." Sora said laughing while drinking his wine, and Izumi and Takako's faces are— well... see you next chapter 😜 byeee!!
