Greater Good [119]

I pulled my hairs in exhaustion and fell on the sofa behind me. Why can I not do it? I asked myself the same question numerous times. Every time I get one more step closer to finish the job, something would distract me and the pen would always fall down. I wondered what was the root cause of these recurring distractions which were keeping me from doing things.

Just when I was about to drown into my stressful thoughts, Cee honked at our driveway and yanked me out of my mind. I grabbed the bracelet from the table and my backpack from the sofa and rushed straight for the main door. Locking it shut behind me, I jogged towards Cee's car and hopped inside.

"Woah! you look like you're in a hurry." She commented as I settled.

"We are late." I announced and she made a face like she didn't want anyone to remind her.

"Why do we have to go school every day?" She whined and banged her fist on the steering.
