Experiment [129]

When I finally found her notebook from her bag, I took out mine from my bag and began copying the answers from her notebook, while adjusting to the speed with which the car was advancing towards school.

"It's totally unbelievable that Katherine Grayson out of all the people hadn't finished her homework." She laughed as she commented. "Seriously what were you doing last night?" She said and I could tell she must have had an eyebrow raised right now.

"I wasn't feeling well last night." I lied. I hoped she won't pry me anymore because I was already panicking and I just didn't wish to blurt out something which I shouldn't. I wasn't annoyed with her teasing, I was only anxious about the homework which was still due.

"You alright now?" I heard Cee ask.

"Hmm. Can you drive a little slower? I can't write properly." I requested but it sounded more like I was ordering her. I didn't want to sound rude but the anxiety and panic was making me lose it.
