"Don't give that pathetic look now. Tell me something to fix this." Cee's voice was desperate and she was really panicking. 

I groaned with confusion. Listening to her made me recall my situation with Lucas and this was really not the time to think about him.

"Should I text him that I would come on Saturday?" She asked further when I didn't give her a reply. "Do you think he might change his mind because of my reply?" She added.

"I don't think he will change his mind or something. And also don't text him or call him, just give him a proper answer in person when you see him tomorrow." I suggested hoping it might be a right advice.

"Yeah ----maybe you're right. Tomorrow the first thing I'm going to do is to tell him." She agreed and banged her fist on the dashboard behind the steering.
