Plans for the weekend [171]

"I went outside for the groceries. What's up?" I said.

"Groceries? What's up with you and the groceries? You seemed to be buying it a lot these days. Are you and Grace having a kitchen disaster or something these days? Seriously why don't you buy everything in bulk, it will save you from the trouble of getting your ass daily at the department store." She didn't seem to be in a good mood. I could tell it by the tone of her voice.

"I have taken notes." I joked though she didn't seem to hear any of them. "What's up anyways?" I asked again.

"Oh yeah I needed some help. But I'll call you later when you reach home. See ya." She said.

"Wait. I'm about to reach home. Just continue talking." I said to her and at that moment I was practically jogging. My home was not so far as I was only one street away plus it was mostly scarce around our neighborhood so I could carelessly rush without having to run over by a car.
