Storm [204]

I shot up straight to my room and changed all my clothes throwing them into the laundry basket. They were partly drenched in sweat and wet mud from the forest and partly from the heavy rain that was pouring outside. It only took me a few steps and a few minutes to make it from the driveway of our house to the porch and yet I was still standing all soaked up in rain. Rain water trickled down my hair like I had just been flung with a bucket of water. I could smell and taste the sea as the salty water accidentally entered my mouth through my wet lips. It didn't even seem like it was raining, the intensity was too much for it to be a normal shower.
