The wrecking [220] [Bonus chapter]

Rash winds sent my hair tumbling across my face and back that I had to tie them up. Finn grabbed a bag from the backseat and slammed the door shut. We began heading inside the forest as the sky continued to rage. Any minute now and it would start raining. I could notice Finn's panic, his steps were fast and his breathing was ragged yet he didn't stop.

The forest today was mushy, wet and murky. Mud squished under my shoes as we continued to head in some direction I had no idea about. Finn was leading like always and it was harder to figure out the bushes and vines around me since the sky was already dark and the little light that came through the canopy was not enough to see things clearly.
