A new kid, Hero, bully, a genius, and three girls.

One girl could run, but the other was lagging behind while giving out a loud wheeze from deep inside of her chest. Sabrina groaned quietly, just stopping when the gate closed behind them. Thank god. Her form bent over slightly while placing her hands on her knee for balance. Breathing in some air before she even thought about going inside. The reality was she had little to no interest in being fit as a runner or swimmer because she planned her designing goal since learning to sew.

"...We really need to get up earlier…" Sabrina eventually breathed out, slowly standing straight again. Slumping her shoulders for a long day of school. Thankfully, the morning was the only class for the first day for them. Which was why the slumber party was tomorrow.

Alexis snorted at this, raising an eyebrow at her breathing. "You should at least run daily, after all…" Her lips formed a small teasing smile, "You are late a lot." She pointed out. Which was kind of true from the week of detention her redhead companion had.

"Not everyone likes to run Alex. I prefer not to rush if I have a choice."

"Then don't blame me if you're late." Alexis shrugged at her, heading inside of the school building first while holding the door open for her.

The designer merely huffed and went back to replace her things in the locker. Any books she needed for two classes, club stuff, were quickly set into the bag and the rest left in the locker for another day. Her chocolate brown eyes glancing up as the second school bell rang for them.

"Anyway," Alexis's voice made her look toward her a second later. Blue clashing with brown, "I should go to math class - Meet me out here again okay?"

Not waiting for Sabrina to nod before she ran down the school hall for her English class. Leaving the redhead to blink at her departure and roll her eyes. Sabrina was the smart one but was often late because of her lack of fitness and interest. On the other hand, Alexis was the goody-two-shoes or a teacher pet. That didn't mean she was the smartest girl in class… Just very obedient.

Shaking her head, 'time to go then.' Sabrina thought with a silent grumble in her head, taking a moment to take a paper slip out of her bag. Which had all the classes she would be taking this morning. 'Science and design… Yes!' Her eyes brightened instantly when she found her two best classes up for today, what luck she had. Usually, it was something like a gym or even music. The first day of music was always annoying, too much talking and even less music.

With a skip from her locker, Sabrina hummed her way toward the classroom. Which was on the upper classrooms, too many floors to even count in this school - It was for the rich - Maybe around fifty floors?

White, pure white. Who even dyed their hair that color? She was the topic of the school and felt herself hating that the most. A week maybe and then it will die down. The question was could she even deal with that until a week or would she try and beat it out of them? Meredith was not a patient person. Thankfully her time there today was limited - Time to shop for this week and buy some clothes, maybe wearing something from here will let her fit in?

That was a laugh but she chooses not to comment or talk to herself this time. Not outside at least…

The good thing was the gold coast was known for there surfing and beach in general. Dealing with bad weather would be out of the window for her at this point. Meredith smiled. 'I need to try it sometime.'

From the school, she walked down the path near the beach and eyed the clear water with interest. You wouldn't get that in Scotland. That was for sure, either way, this was a good start to her day for now. Her Icy blue eyes only just seeing a shadow of an Island along the deep waters near the edge of the beach. 'What is that? An Island?' Narrowing her eyes at it slightly, she wondered why no one used that to their advantage for something. This city had a bunch of fun parts like water parks, for instance, the sea world and so on. "…Weird." She said to herself.

After a few more moments of staring she eventually made her way back to walking through the street. The one good thing was the many shops in this city, but first, she went to the first shop she knew was a must. Shoes. Those were a must for any girl, or maybe some boots. Then again boots and the sun don't really mix so for once she was going to try and check out some other things rather than stick to her style. Meredith pushed the door, a ding coming from the entrance when she entered. Peering at the room with her eyes at first she went right for the boots and browsed a little.

Her family had little money to spend. 'I should look for any jobs while shopping.' She thought to herself while eyeing the rather cheap boots for anything she could take.

Meredith briskly picked out a few from each section. Spending the day shopping wasn't a horrible idea she told herself that. Then again she also got a job at the cafe, and for now, she was going to be tested to see how it will work. Unlike most girls these days she had to work every day of her life. She just hoped that some places would let her in to dance or sing or even play music. A club in school was great, but her preference was to continue her hobbies outside of school.

Her dad liked to point out that she would never get used to people like this. So, this time she was going to join a few and try to break out of her loner trait. Taking a quick tour of the market around the city for the remaining school hours, Meredith eventually found everything she needed for the dinner tonight. Something about a welcome from some rich woman or something.

'Why he wants me to go, I don't know.' Meredith thought with a small frown on her face, it was odd for him. Whenever someone invited them he would refuse right away or scoff and walk off. 'What are you planning dad?'

" Anderson get your back into that backstroke!" A rough voice yelled from the edge of the pool. A rather well-built coach with medium skin and deep brown eyes stood close enough to be heard. His eyes narrowed with concentration. "Come girl! Stroke, stroke!" He snarled louder, clenching his large fists at his side before crossing them over his chest.

You might think this was quite odd-looking to have a teacher who yelled at you more than anything. Alexia was used to her gentle coaxing mother at home but sometimes needed some hardship in it. Even as she told her mother that she just seemed too overprotective to let her go through that. If Anne ever found out she would kill her for keeping this from her and then murder the coach herself.

Alexia tried not to scowl to herself. This was to make her better than ever, she could handle this she could. 'I can do this, I can.' She thought determinedly, her lips pressed together tightly, throwing her arms one at a time for one more lap along with the pool. Her hips and legs were on fire with her arms, the muscles she built in them clenched tightly before she reached the edge of the pool. Rolling under the wall and using her legs for one more strong push to the other side.

Her baby blue eyes narrowed slightly behind her goggles, slapping her hand on the pool before raising her head from the water. "H-How was.. That coach!?"

"Not bad… You still need to keep this up and push yourself." The coach told her after a moment. He turned his back to her and made his way to a long bench along with the room. His hand-picked up the file on her and began writing into it as he walked back. "So for your homework this week -- Or rather the next six I want you going to the gym with this table. Do it exactly, and we'll meet her after the six weeks."

'Shoot. It wasn't enough again…' Her eagerness sort of deflated at the coach's tone of voice, she knew in his eyes it was a work in progress but it was hard not being rewarded like her mother tried to do with her. Then again she was so used to that she came to him in the first place. Alexis closed her eyes and sucked her teeth. Her mantra going from one to ten before she decided to open them again and nod unenthusiastically, it was rather obvious she was wasn't happy with what she did.

Once that was said the coach walked off and she placed her hands on the edge of the pool before pulling herself from the water. Wet feet padded back into the school, leading her toward the lockers, you didn't go into the hall of the school from here it was past the lockers itself. So she had no issue walking around. Alexia wore a one-piece swimming suit that most professional swimmers wore, it was a deep blue with a zipper halfway down her chest. Colors of blue and pink were at the bottom, making it stand out more. Her hair was tied into a very tight bun with pins to stop it from falling during her training. Thankfully, that was the one thing she was taught by her mother.

Feeling even more down that this training session wasn't an improvement she slumped her shoulders slightly, unzipping her swimming suit before sliding each arm out and letting it fall on the ground. Then she got to work shimming into her tight jeans, throwing on the tank down and blouse that went over it. Along with Bracelet and anything else besides her flats, quick enough to march down the hallway from the hallway, on the way fixing make-up and her hair into a wet ponytail.

Suddenly she felt herself bang into someone coming in the direction she was going but was grabbed by the arm with her bag so she didn't fall on the floor. Alexis groaned to herself at her rush, how stupid could she be?

"Hey, are you okay?" A male voice said in front of her when she snapped out of her mental scolding. Meeting with the brightest color of golden brown she has ever seen. The male was a striking dirty blonde with brown as his natural color underneath. Clearly, the blonde was just high lights but it was nice, he had a strong jawline that clenched when he grabbed her the worry showed in his brows knitting together when nothing was said further.

Alexia blinked slowly and her cheeks flushed, "O-Oh! I'm so sorry… Y-Yes, thank you for grabbing me before I fell." She said in a slight rush, her tone remaining polite and soft. Even a slight smile came from her curled lips painted in gloss. Stepping back enough for him to let go she noticed he was carrying a bag and books -- New student maybe? He wore a denim T-shirt buttoned up with three left undone, matching jeans with part of them rolled up with black trainers.

He smiled with full pearl white teeth in a soothing way to calm her down. "Don't worry about it." He said in his American accent, "I was just looking around this new school myself."

"You must be new then! Maybe I can help you, after bumping into you like that and all…" Alexia laughed nervously, her eyes closing as she did. "I'm Alexia by the way."

" Chris, nice to meet you. Alexia," He started to say with that same smile before pulling out a time table. "I just need to go to the main office for my books." He told her while rubbing his neck sheepishly. The fact was he walked past it a long time ago so he must be pretty back with direction.

" Well, I think you missed it." Shaking her head slightly, She pointed to the two double doors on the floor. It should have been obvious since it was the only thing that stood out here. "Good luck," Alexis said before walking past to meet up with her friend.

Just like they planned Sabrina was supposed to be going to the school front entrance to meet up with her for their walk home. She had a lot to do before the dinner party, which was a bunch of formal speeches that Alexis's mother wanted to give out to the new people in their street -- In other words, another house to sell and more money to earn. However, she stayed back to finish sewing this one last bit of the skirt for class. The skirt had yet to be decided on what design was going on it.

Her foot lifted from underneath the sewing machine, stopping what she was doing to scan the drawing she had mapped out for this entire outfit. Today would just be on the skirt, but if you got that done and moved on the teacher wasn't going to complain about it. The skirt could have been known as a mini if you had a mind to judge it, but in all respect, you didn't have many plaid designs that were longer than this. The fabric was not actually what it looked like either, polyester in fact. Then she had a buckle to be sewed into the side, overall. It was finished for this day.

Sabrina tugged at the skirt and it was free from the machine, cute. Not the color she wore, but Alexia might enjoy it. 'I wonder if I can get her to be a model.' She mused, slowly allowing a small grin to come onto her face. 'Doubtful.'

The issue with her is her sheltered life, in all Alexis was a rich girl who wasn't spoiled… However, her mother might as well considered her spoiled with the way she preferred to be in the shadow. The only thing Sabrina knew would bring her friend to the top is her swimming -- Her art is pretty good to mind you. Why she didn't go there more often she would never know. Sabrina sighed and tried to go back to her happy place once again. Neatly folding the skirt she held it to her chest and placed it in a draw she had in classroom before using her key to lock it. That was one thing, no one can steal your shit.

With that done she walked out of the classroom to meet with Alexis, on the way out she lifted her mobile phone from her shoulder bag. '2.30. Training shouldn't be too long.' She thought to herself.

'I should just go to the meeting place for now.' Continued the redhead, using her fingers to send a quick text to Alexis instead of waiting when she got near the entrance doors. Pausing she took what books she needed from the locker, stuffed them in the bag and placed it over her shoulder.

'I'll just head to the meeting place by the beach. Get moving slowpoke!' Her fingers flew at the keys for the words and sent a silly face near the end before closing and locking her screen. Setting her mobile backing into her handbag she kneeled down to take off her indoor shoes and swap it for her stylish ones instead. That was when she heard her name over her shoulder.

"Sab!"

The voice belonged to someone she knew all to well in class and back home. Actually, Jaden lived just beside her on the other side of her house. He was a tall male, even for herself and Alexis. He wasn't fit but seemed to be healthy not to be lanky as most genius like herself are. "Wait up, I've been calling for you for the last minute." He huffed upon approaching, his hands on his leg allowing him to slowly gain his normal breathing once more. "…Man why are you dreaming?"

"Sorry, Jaden." Sabrina smiled at him sheepishly and tilted her head. "Why are you chasing me anyway?" She asked while he got his skateboard and bookbag with everything piled in it already.

The two of them usually worked together on their school work. Between there advanced classes, even if his childhood friend was honestly a lazy person… He still asked her to come and work with him when he could. "I was going to ask to study with you for our homework assignment." His dark brown eyes glanced at her with open amusement. "I guess that would be out of the question right?"

Sabrina joined in the amusement and laughed with her eyes closed. Then walked out with him, "Yeah. The sleepover is tonight and I need to get things ready for Alex. You know how she is."

'Oh boy,' He thought to himself with a shake of his head. " Well, you know you can tell me when you're free." He shrugged at her for a moment before facing the front. He wore a white shirt with a bright red T-shirt left open to the wind. Along with dark denim jeans and black trainers and his usual off coloring that his mother most likely shipped over from someplace. Jaden was a rich boy who hated to be spoiled and while the smartest he was often a pushover.

It was shocking to know that he wasn't well-liked by other girls in his class. Which Sabrina was actually greatful for, but she refused to even go there. Her matching eyes looked over his messy blonde hair with dark brown layered underneath you could tell he was a natural brown. His hair wasn't straight or curly, but provided to have a thickness that curled at the ends at least.

When his skate broad hit the ground loudly brown eyes with the same deep brown for a moment and waited near the meeting place over the railing. Jaden placed his feet on the broad and pushed along the path with her watching him for a moment. Then she decided to take a trip down to the boat to see if she can watch some of the animals in the sea -- Dolphins were her favorite thing to work with back at sea world. However, she knew the top bully in her school was going to be there most likely to with his group. Not to mention he was a rich spoiled boy who saw everything below him.

Just along the pier by the street behind the railing was a tall male who stood near a motorboat. His father owned a large boat and yacht with nearly thousands of motorboats around this very pier. He stood out with dark skin -- not too dark or very dark but enough to be considered dark or even tanned. His hair was short and tamed with the signature hair combed to the front and spiked forward in a form of a crew cut. Minus the shaved sides, that is. He turned away from his boat in his white trainers in annoyance, currently having the phone pressed to his face in an angry call to his father or some lackey.

Sabrina closed her eyes and groaned. Oh great… I should have stayed where I was. She mentally scolded herself once before opening her brown eyes again. He wasn't even horrible looking, but with a decent look came a horrible personality, it was kind of sad really. Her eyes watched him move on the pier in a pace his teeth clenching in withheld anger while his forest green eyes glared at nothing. He wore a white tight shirt, his tight muscles moved underneath with tension and relaxed at times. A pair of headphones tucked over his neck with a pair of light jeans on, fairly baggy and not tight. Finally, a lone feather necklace hangs down from his neck onto his chest. The only thing she couldn't see was his light jacket tied around his waist, the same tick mark from his trainers at the front and a lone silver bag on the boat not far off. His personality completely ruins anything good about him from first impressions though. He looks kind of pissed… Sabrina continued with a wary glance she tried to walk down the pier and pass him.

Ryan Nicholas White a well-known spoiled rich kid who ruled the school and city with his father iron fist. John White, his father owned a fair amount of business which helped him earn the money and power he wanted, unlike Ryan who preferred staying away from it when he could. When the mobile snapped shut he looked over to see the redhead walking briskly, his scowl only deepened, and moved to jump over the pier in front of her.

"Jesus!" Sabrina jumped a little when he landed down on the wooden surface. Her eyes widened for a moment before going back to normal.

With a bemused glance toward her jump, he crossed his arms, his two lackeys going behind her to stop any escape from the front or behind. She frowned at this and tried to walk around him instead. Not sure why it was so important that he had to bother her this morning. "Come on Ryan, I need to get past you. I don't have time for your games."

This made his amusement disappear instantly, clearly, she was acting. Who else walking around here would do it though? When Ryan came here after school he noticed this his men had yet to start the boat. Most of them had a brain in the size of a pea so he thought nothing of it at the time. No, something was up because it wouldn't even start with the normal fix either. He had to assume that she had the plug to start the boat -- Even with keys, the boat would never move.

"Come on, Sabrina." He scoffed at her excuse and placed his hands on his hip, "We know it was you -- It's too much of a coincidence. You walk around about the time I found my boat unable to work?" A single brow rose in question the scowl only seemed to deepen. The anger in his voice clear enough for the men behind to share a look. "Give it back, now."

"...What?" There was a long pause before she brought herself to reply, her eyebrows furrowing in confusion before she decided this was not her problem. " When have I ever done anything like that? Seriously Ryan?"

Honestly, this was the biggest annoyance in the world. When Ryan figured something out -- Right or wrong -- It was hard to get him out of that mindset. As much as she wanted to, rolling her eyes at his drama scene she pushed him away and moved to the boat itself. "God, if it's such a big deal let me fix it." She said, climbing onto the boat knowing they most likely didn't fix it right. At times, Sabrina could be too foolish for her own good. When she felt something more and most likely the boat her head snapped over her shoulder.

"Anyone would have walked away, but you decided to help? Don't joke with me." Ryan glowered at her, his emerald hues narrowing with a piercing glare. The two men with him pushed the boat a little onto the water and watched her get moved with the gentle waves. "Have fun on the water, Shorty!"

"Darn it! You can't just leave me like this!"

"Oh, but I can." He retorted with a cold smile crossing over his handsome features.

Sabrina opened her mouth to say something her face going red from anger and frustration -- That was until someone jumped from the railing above the pier and landed on her boat. Her brown hues widened at the white-haired female who gave her an odd look and shoot a piercing glare over her shoulder. "Looking for this?" A slight smirk slowly formed on her pretty face, the plug for the boat in hand.

'That plug! So she was the one who stole it!?' She thought, not sure if she should be pissed at her for bringing her into this or laugh at Ryan's face. 'I guess I can't be too angry.'

For a moment he couldn't even believe that someone he didn't know had that. What did she have against him? When did she get that? Ryan scowl returned once more before he slammed his hands on the boat beside him. "Y-You! Give that back or you will regret it!" He yelled at them, but even he knew that getting to them would take him a moment. Then the boat would be even further away from them.

"Right. And how can you do that on land?" The woman retorted with a wider smirk for him, throwing his threat to the wind she began to fix the boat at the back and aimed it for further into the sea. Meredith could only share a look with the woman on the boat and raised a single brow at her, "I doubt you want to go onto land right now. Why don't we go to that meeting place you spoke of?"

Sabrina blinked her smile instantly bright. She had to tone it down because the other girl seemed on the wary side instead of welcoming. "Oh! I guess not, but once we get out of sight we should go along this mountain path and my friend should be waiting for me." She nodded her head, considering how angry that bully was she didn't want to get caught in the crossfire once more.

"...My name is Meredith, by the way." The girl decided to say, not sure how long they would be near each other. She did promise herself to get along with people instead of pushing them away.

The bright girl smiled even more at this, and suddenly she wished she hadn't said a word.

"Sabrina, most call me Sab though."

The girls went into a comfortable silence after this, Meredith noticed that this was much easier for herself than the girl in the front. The glance she continued to get from the corner of her eye made her amused. Either way, she wouldn't bother to talk to her if she could help it. The boat soon went along the path they wanted to go along and soon found a dark-haired female walking along with it with a frown. This must be her if she's just looking around for someone with no intention of moving away.

"Alex! Down here!" Sabrina suddenly called for her loudly, leaving the white-haired girl to wince at the volume.

The same blue eyes snapped in their direction and widened. "Sab? Why are you on a boat!?" She yelled out with her mouth gaping, but didn't stop herself from going down the staircase that leads down to the water. The boat slowly coming to meet her as she waited. "You said you would never go on one in your life." She continued with a near accusing glance at Meredith.

Sabrina noticed this and shook her head. "Don't look at her like that!" She snapped, clearly defensive of her new hero. "She saved me from being drifted with no way back." After she paused and softened her eyes, glancing behind her once more with a thankful smile. This time the newest companion smiled a little in response -- She did wish the hero thing would stop though. She wasn't that nice for one.

"Alright, Alright." Alexis peacefully raised both hands for the sake of calming her down. Then moved her eyes toward the new girl. "Sorry, Sab gets bullied so often that I just… Assume…"

"I've been accused of worse, trust me."

"Good! Now get on the boat so we can enjoy this." Sabrina suddenly interrupted the moment with an excited clap of her hands. Both girls looked toward her like she was nuts, for a girl who was near enough crying when she was drifting a moment ago. Not just that, she wanted to go along with a girl she barely knew?

Alexis knew she wasn't going to hear the end of it. With a sigh, she stepped into the middle and the girls moved around the clear water sea. Softly talking between them with the added excitement of the redhead raising the volume every now and then.

Meredith glanced at the boat when he started lagging close to the Island. Odd, she knew that bully filled it enough for at least another hour or two. "That's odd…"

"Mere?"

The nickname rose a certain warmth in her that she didn't care to admit out loud. Her pale blue reflected the sun which gave them a silver shade to them. "..uh, I'm not sure how but it would seem the tank is almost empty-"

Sabrina's eyes couldn't help but widen with fear, but it was Alexis who screeched in panic. "What the hell!? Did you even check to see if it was full enough!?"

"I watched that bully fill it for a while, actually." Meredith snapped in her defense, her eyes narrowing at the brown-haired female for a moment. "Look let's just stop at the Island and use our contacts to call home." She told them calmly, taking a deep breath as if to help their fearful friend to breathe normally and not panic on them.

Everyone could hardly say no, but what would they find on this land, and will their mobile phones work?
