C22- He was actually smiling.

Yu Jinye walked in and saw Lu Weiwei under the sheets , he raised the sheets and saw her as she snuggled under it. She was still awake.

" I thought you were busy" she said.

" I was only teasing you, are you mad at me?" he asked.

" Nope" she said.

He picked the dryer and placed her head on his thigh as he sat on the bed.

" Your hair is quite long, don't you want to trim it?" he asked.

She chuckled.

" Then you won't like me anymore, I like my hair this way" she replied.

"I'll always love you Lu Weiwei, never forget that" he said and held her hand and interlocked their fingers.

"Promise me that no matter what happens, you'll always trust me" he said.

"I promise " she smiled.

He continued drying her hair until she slept off.

He also took a shower and slept beside her .

The next morning,

Lu Weiwei had packed some of her things because she was resuming today. Yu Jinye had enrolled her and Bai Wei in a new Art's school.

She walked down the stairs with her luggage,

Yu Jinye picked some files in the office for the meeting .

"Wifey, are you ready?" he asked.

" Yes hubby" .

She wore a pencil skirt and a baby pink long sleeve shirt with heels and she let down her curly hair.

Without make up, she looked amazing.

She made her way towards him and he was still staring at her.

" Cut the crap, why are you still staring at me?" she said.

" I don't want you to leave , stay with me" he said hugging her.

" I have classes to attend but I'll see you when we have breaks" she said and urged him to drop her off

" Isn't Bai Wei coming with us?" Yu Jinye asked.

" She said Long Ciye will be dropping her off" she explained.

The both of them made way to the school, he drove her personally in his Black Rolls Royce.

They arrived there simultaneously as Long Ciye and Bai Wei arrived too.

They saw each other but didn't step out of the car.

Lu Weiwei removed her seat belt as she was excited for a new school, she didn't notice her husband's mood.

She tried to unlock the car door but it wasn't opening.

" Hubby, the car is locked" she complained.

He dragged her towards him and she was stunned.

"You didn't give me a goodbye kiss" he said.

She smiled and pecked his lips .

" Are you okay now?, can I leave" she asked.

" Nope"

He dragged her forward and caught her lips as he deeply kissed her as though they wouldn't see each other for the rest of their

lives.

He finally released her lips,

" I love you and I'll miss you wifey" he said hugging her as she tried to catch her breath.

"You cheat, let me be" she said.

He dropped her off and they said their goodbyes, Bai Wei and Long Ciye were very excited as they were starting in a new school.

They first registered their names and they were led to a cozy private apartment , that had three bedrooms, a large living room and two bathrooms and toilets.

Bai Wei didn't expect something luxurious, even Lu Weiwei was stunned.

They wouldn't have any roommates disturbing them.

" Baby, your husband is perfect." Bai Wei said.

" I know baby," Lu Weiwei said.

"I hope I'm blessed with a sweetheart like him"

"He's my sweetheart" Lu Weiwei said blushing.

"You don't have to be so possessive "

They both laughed as they spent the rest of the day admiring their apartment.

*Yu Corps*

Yu Jinye was signing a document when Su Ze's call came through.

"Yu Jinye, what's up?" he asked.

"Wow , the boss . Seems like you forgot about me completely" Yu Jinye emphasized.

"I heard you got married,finally you came out of your trauma"

"She's quite amazing and she's just like Lingsha but I'm married now and I have to forget about her"

"That's right, we always wished the best for you" Su Ze said.

"When are you coming to China?," he asked.

" I'm in China , I just got here and besides Su Zhilan will be here anytime soon" Su Ze explained.

"Shall we have a party later on?" Yu Jinye asked.

" Sure , and bring along your respective partners" Su Ze stated.

" That means Jin Mi is coming also" Yu Jinye teased.

Su Ze hung up and Yu Jinye laughed at him,

he went for his meeting and his subordinates were shocked that he was actually smiling.

After the meeting,

He called Lu Weiwei and informed her about it, saying he would pick her up by 7pm.
