Chapter 7: Ice Cream Girl and a Neko?

Weiss: (in shock) You don't know who I am? I am Weiss Schnee, heiress to the Schnee Dust Company, one of the largest producers of energy propellant in the world!

(Kirito POV:)
I rocked back and forth as Weiss patted my hair.
Weiss: It's alright, child.
Kirito: (jumping) I'm not a child! How old do I look?
Weiss: Aren't you 12?
Kirito slumped over as a dark cloud appeared over him.
Kirito: How old are you?
Weiss: 16, turning 17 and joining Beacon in 8 months to esca- to become a huntress.
Kirito: (thinking) 8 months? Oh yeah, Beacon starts soon, doesn't it? I feel like we weren't here for that long though?
(AN: Who know?)
Weiss: You never answered my question, how old are you if you aren't a child?
Kirito: (covering his face) I'm 15.
Weiss and Winter: You're a teenager?!
I groaned as I tried to ignore them. Do I look that young? I want to be tall, handsome, and cool, not short and cute!
Weiss: Well then...
Winter: This is awkward...
Alice: (from a distance) Kirito!
I turned around only to freeze as I see Alice running towards me.
Alice: You woke up? Good! We have clothing to buy! Let's go!
Kirito: No no no, I am not doing this!
Alice: (pulls out a steak knife from our inventory) Did you say something?
I shivered, feeling colder and colder by the second.
Kirito: Yes Ma'am.
Weiss: Who are you?
Alice: Me? (spinning knife before putting it into her pocket secretly putting it back into the inventory) I'm his older sister.
Weiss: Why was he outside, alone? Knocked out to be specific?!
Alice: I kinda forgot him outside, heh. (scratching her head) Well then, bye!
Kirito: Oh yeah! My name is Kirito, see you later!
Alice grabbed my hand before running off with me as I waved goodbye before we disappeared around a corner.
Winter: (thinking) Interesting kid, I could barely keep up with my eyes.
Winter: What do you think of that kid?
Weiss: That dolt Kirito? He's a complete moron and a huge idiot!
Weiss: (mumbling) But he looked cute.
Winter: What was that?
Weiss: (panicky) Nothing! Let's go!

Kirito: (collapses) I can't move...
It was 8 hours since he last talked to both Weiss and Winter, and he was currently holding 5 bags filled with whatever the girls bought.
Alice: We are going to one last final store, so go have fun somewhere else.
Kirito: (confused) I'm not following you for this one?
Alice: (blushing) You WANT to go to a lingerie store with us?!
Kirito: (tomato red) NO! I'll be getting some ice cream or something!
Alice: Good. See yah!
Alice, Ruby, and Yang walked into the store, while I sat there, looking at my 6 [White Lien Cards]. I guess I'll go to buy ice cream.

As I walked into an ice cream shop, I walked over to the cashier.
Kirito: Excuse me, but can I see your menu?
Cashier: Sorry, but we ran out of a lot of ice cream today. The only ice-creams we have left are Vanilla, Neapolitan, Rocky Road, or Mint.
Kirito: I guess I'll take Neopolitan.
Cashier: What size?
Kirito: I'll take a pint of it.
Cashier: Here you go, that'll be 5 Lien! You sure are lucky, that was the last one as well!
Kirito: (handing her the money) I guess I am.
As I walked out of the shop, a woman entered it. She was short, about 4 foot 10, with a hair color that was similar to Neopolitan Ice Cream. Her eyes were brown and pink, and she walked in with a hop in her step, along with an umbrella.
Cashier: Oh! It's you again!
The girl then put her hand into her pocket and pulled out a scroll.
???: {Yup! Neopolitan, Pint-Sized!}
(AN: {} means when someone is using a scroll. Just saying that now.)
Cashier: Sorry, but he has the last one.
The cashier pointed towards me as I pulled out a spoon and opened the pint.
???: {Wait!!!}
The dashed out of the shop and tackled me right as I was going to take a bite, resulting in me shoving the spoon into my mouth while the pint of ice cream flew high into the air.
Kirito: (gagging) Kah! Gak! Agh!
We both landed on the ground, with my back used as a cushion for the fall, and her on top of me.
Kirito: (more gagging) Hack! Ra! Blah!
???: {Hold on!}
She lifted her scroll once more before hitting my stomach with her hands, CPR style.
Kirito: (spitting the spoon out) Ptoo!
The spoon left my mouth as I sat there taking huge breaths.
???: {Are you okay?}
Kirito: Y-yeah, just, hold on.
I got up and looked up, seeing the pint fall from the sky. How did it even get that high up?
???: {Aw, there goes perfectly good ice cream!}
Kirito: (eyes covered by a shadow) No.
???: {?}
Kirito: I'm not losing a dessert ever again!
I got into a running start position before I dashed toward the wall, using my [Sprint] skill.
???: (thinking) Fast!
I jumped onto the wall, before leaping into the air and grabbing the pint of ice cream.
???: (thinking) How's he going to get down?

(3rd Person POV:)
Kirito: [System Call! Generate Cryogenic Element! Form Element Ramp Shape! Discharge!]
[-35 Aura!]
[340 Left!]
A ramp made of ice appeared, shocking ??? as she watched Kirito slide down the ramp before landing safely on the ground.
Kirito: Whew! Now then...
Kirito: [System Call! Reshape Cryogenic Element! Form Element Spoon Shape! Discharge!]
The ramp slowly disappeared before turning into a spoon made of ice. Kirito grabbed it and was about to eat once more, until...
???: {Wait! Please, listen to me!}
Kirito: Huh?
??? ran towards him and grabbed his arm, hugging him.
???: {My name is Neo, and please share that ice cream with me!}

Alice, Ruby, and Yang finally came out of the shop, before they walked out.
Yang: Man that was fun, I wonder where Kirito went though?
Alice: He said he was going to get ice cream.
Ruby: Ooh! That sounds good!
Yang: There he is! Look, he's holding a pint of one.
Alice: Kirito! There you ar-
As the three approached Kirito, they saw a girl run and hug his arm. They watched as Kirito blushed, but didn't say or do anything.
Ruby: (murderously) Who is that girl? Why is she getting so close to Kirito?
Alice: (equally as murderous) Hmm, I wonder, why don't we ask Ki~ri~to himself~?
Yang: (gulping; thinking) Kirito! What the heck are you doing?
Alice: (sweetly) Now they are sharing ice cream while sitting next to each other at a table, huh~?
Ruby: (eyes closed) Hmm, isn't that INTERESTING?
Ruby says while crushing a nearby wall, which was slowly starting to crack.
(AN: No, they are not Yanderes, they are just VERY possessive)
Meanwhile:
Kirito: So you can't talk at all? And your name is Neo?
Neo: {Nope. That's why I use this scroll to talk to people. And as for my name, it's exactly like this ice cream we are sharing. Kinda like a date!}
Kirito blushes then looks away. Neo notices this and grins.
Neo: {Oh? Not good with flirting or close contact huh~?}
Kirito: N-no, I'm not. But your voice, I have an idea...
Kirito pulls out 1 [Emergency Potion] before placing it on the table.
Kirito: Try drinking this.
Neo: (confused) {Are you trying to drug me?}
Kirito: NO! Just, try it.
Neo: {Since you saved ice cream, I trust you!}
Neo downed the whole thing before placing it back down on the table.
Neo: So what was supposed to...
Neo covers her mouth with her hands, her eyes slowly widening, bigger and bigger.
Neo: (tearing up) M-my v-voice...
Kirito: Yup. That thing you just drunk was something similar to a health potion in games.
Neo: (hugging him tightly) Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Kirito: (blushing) I-it's fine, but p-please let go...
Neo: Oh right, you aren't good with close contact, but...
Neo leans into his ear and whispers.
Neo: (flirting tone) Since you helped me, I can repay you any~way~I~want~
Kirito turned redder and redder as he slowly tried to calm down.
Neo: Well, I need to go now, but I won't forget this favor!
Neo quickly got up before grabbing her umbrella.
Neo: Oh, before I go!
Neo motioned for him to get closer and as he did...
Neo: Chu~
Neo kissed him on the cheek.
Neo: Tah tah~!
Neo then skipped away as Kirito sat there, with his brain completely shut down. While he did, both Alice and Ruby ran onto the scene, then towards Kirito.
Alice: (yelling) Who was that girl?! Why was she so close to you?!
Ruby: (stammering) A-and why did she k-kiss you?!
But Kirito didn't respond. His eyes didn't move, nor did his mouth.
Alice: Kirito? Kirito! Say something!
Yang: I think his brain overheated.
Ruby: Kirito? Kirito!

As Neo walked back into the warehouse, Roman approached her and patted her head.
Roman: So how was your day?
Neo: (excitedly) It was good, dad!
Roman: (shocked) Your voice? B-but how?
Neo: Some guy gave it to me!
Roman: What did he give you?
Neo: He called it a potion? I don't remember, but I'm thankful!
Roman: How did you thank him?
Neo: With a lot of teasing and a kiss on the cheek!
Roman froze for a second before forcing a grin while rubbing her hair.
Roman: (forcefully) T-that's very INTERESTING...
Roman: (thinking) I'm going to thank that brat by killing him.

Kirito: Achoo!
Alice: (confused) Why are you sneezing? It's the middle of Summer!
Kirito: I don't know, but Alice?
Alice: Yes?
Kirito: Until Beacon starts, we are going to be training.
Alice: Are we weak?
Kirito: Compared to other hunters I see? Yeah, we are...
Alice: When we get home, we'll do that.
As the four walked past a book store, Kirito paused before he turned to the other three girls.
Kirito: You girls go ahead, I'm gonna go check out the bookstore real quick.
Ruby: (suspicious) Are you going to go somewhere else in secret?
Kirito: No, I just want to see how this place's books are.
Ruby: Alright, we'll see you soon.
Kirito walked inside and looked around the place. It was small, but you could definitely tell it had a lot of interesting books. As he walked around, he accidentally bumped into someone, making both of them fall over.
Kirito: Ah!
???: Huh?
Books tumbled everywhere as a ribbon fell on the floor.
Kirito: Sorry about that, I wasn't looking.
???: It's fine.
Kirito: (picks up a book) Huh? What this? Ninjas of Love? Sounds interesting. What's it about?
???: (blushing) Give me that!
??? snatched the book out of Kirito's hand, before he could say anything.
Kirito: Sorry about that... (looking up) I... A cat?
??? look horrified for a moment before she looked up and saw that her ears were sticking out. She frantically looked for something before she spotted a ribbon. She quickly snatched that as well, wearing it before giving him the most hateful glare Kirito has ever seen.
Kirito: (confused) Why are you wearing that? You look cuter without it?
??? looked at him, red from both embarrassment and anger.
???: You better forget about this!
Kirito: Why?
??? looked exhausted before she spoke.
???: (sarcastically) Because I'm just a filthy Faunus!
Kirito: Filthy? You look clean to me. Besides, you seem kinda nice.
???: (thinking) Nice? Clean? He called me, a Faunus that?
???: (slowly) What is your name?
Kirito: Me? It's Kirito.
???: My name is Blake, and I'm sorry about before.
Kirito: It's fine, though I have to admit, you should remove the bow sometime, you look cuter that way!
Blake: Huh?!
Kirito: Well, I need to go or my sister will kill me. See ya!
Kirito dashed out of the bookstore as his [Quests] updated.

Kirito: (sweating) O-oh, and that would be?
Alice opened the [Inventory] and pulled out [Cat Ears and Tail].
Alice: (smiling) Doesn't this look interesting?
