THE MOTHER SHE LONGED FOR

At the peak of Mount Kidod, a peaceful community of roughly eighteen households live harmoniously. The men till the land for as long as the sun is up then enjoy the harvested crops on their table at night. The women, young and old travel miles to wash their clothes and bring water as they return to their own homes - no complaints, just smiles on their faces looking satisfied of their contribution. Though the life they are living is as humble as it can be, they were contented and are the exact definition of untroubled dwellers.

Never would they have thought that one day, everything will change. This place they call sanctuary will no longer be the same.
