The Order of the Worlds

Yin and Yang...

Bai Wan reflected on two energies that seemed to be opposite, but that fused in perfect synchrony within that abyss. If the part he was in was pure Yang, somewhere in that chasm, there was light and if he found the light, he would find Chaos.

Bai Wan smiled as he killed part of that charade. Supernatural courage reached his soul and he actually smiled. For the first time he felt that, he was taking advantage of that dark game of the abyss. While outside Chi Yu attacked fiercely, inside the darkness seemed to open more and more. The small beams of light began to increase, making Bai Wan see where he was and how he was. The statues were again in attack mode, and the larger ones kept the smaller statue. If the statue remained guarded, he just had to reach it. This time he tried to approach, but all seven guarded the smallest noticed their approach and came to attack. It seemed like something infinite, an eternal game that if he came close to the smaller statue he would be swallowed up by another darkness perhaps worse than this.

Light and darkness, Mortal and immortal, Yin Yang...

Bai Wan opened his eyes wide and quickly killed the last charade. It was so patterned that he felt stupid for a while. Bai Wan let his guard down and let the statue's ax strike him with all fury.

His body felt the impact being hurled away and hitting something that seemed to swallow him. He smiled as he realized what he needed to do to jump to the next level. A sword stroke flew at him and Bai Wan did not dodge, on the contrary, he seemed to open a breach for attacks.... Until the last statue released his arrows and he was hit in full. Bai Wan's body was nailed to the black cloak and his blood flowed like a fountain, his eyes trembled and his breath seemed to drain. His chest was open and bones protruded. The pain tore his soul in two; it was so intense that for a few seconds he felt regret that he had gone after Chaos. However, that feeling vanished when an ironic smile escaped his lips. Bai Wan gathered his remaining energy within its original form and floated up close to the smaller statue, an air ball formed in his hands when the statue tried to distance itself, but he was quicker to reach it. Again, the black light tried to swallow him like the last time, but since he had to exhaust all his magic to perform the final act, he just gathered everything in one point of the body like a bomb and finally dissipated all his magic in the air. An intense black glow faded into the darkness like pollen in the wind.

- Alive and dead ... - he let out between whispers already losing the breath that sustained his life. Until the darkness swallowed him up, but this time he didn't let go to an eternal pitch, as soon as he felt his magic fade, Bai Wan cracked his spirit from his body, it was a prohibited technique of the demonic clan, but very used during the war when the demons were defeated. They divided their spirits from physical bodies. This was a way of entering places they were not allowed, if they were in spirit they could move forward without any fear, just abandoning their bodies completely. The demons managed to win great battles, and that was how many also increased their spells, abandoning their original bodies and possessing human bodies. As soon as the spirit was strong, they joined the original physical body again.

Bai Wan cracked his spirit separating from his body. As soon as he became just a spirit, he followed into the light that the statue had emanated. The light followed along with the darkness. He felt his spirit being sucked in by the light and his body being thrown into the darkness. This time the hall was as clear as day, the darkness was no longer there, just an intense glow that radiated everywhere. Now his body was no longer matter as before, but spirit. He laughed at his master's move and slowly descended to the floor, wandering the hall.

- To live and to die, is the last relativity of the immortal! - Bai Wan spoke proudly of having discovered the answer for himself. This was a charade, never that he could pass the statues in life, he needed to die, or by simulating that death, they had the portal to the next room, but crossing to the light could only in spirit. - Old Glutton, I will repay you in another life!

Bai Wan felt gratitude for the great master he had while he was observing the place, it seemed nothing like an abyss, and it was too calm and much quieter than before. Nevertheless, there was peace, oddly enough, even in the midst of so much tribulation and black magic, the core of the abyss was pure Yin.

The room was immense, as big as anyone who had ever stepped, there were several writings embedded in the walls, drawings of the sun and moon embedded in the pilasters. Bai Wan walked calmly, observing the immense walls that would leave even the celestial hall a little dull. There were strange beings drawn on the walls followed by indecipherable strange symbols, there were ten beings illuminated with their hands up supporting the sun, just below another figure held the moon, but the lower part seemed more morbid, Bai Wan calculated that these were the ten celestial elders sealing chaos at the beginning of the world. Ahead there were other celestial beings, and they seemed to hold something black in their hands, there were three groups of celestials and each one held something strange in their hands, it looked like black magic. Bai Wan wrinkled his forehead for that scene, as celestials did not know how to use black magic, only demons, and the abyss had pure black magic because chaos resided there and its essence had dominated the air of Yin and Yang.

Then there were hooded figures who held a baby with a symbol on his forehead, it looked like a ritual, above them, there was a sun and the moon coming together in one. Bai Wan returned the figures from the beginning to analyze better and realized that this was a timeline, but the more he tried to understand the baby's final figures, the more difficult it became.

Upon closer observation, he felt that everything there was made of pure and perfectly clean magic, totally worthy of the fame of the ten elders. In the center of the hall, which was all designed, there was a small lake that was perfectly aligned with the sun on the ceiling, the waters were so clear that he could say that it was just a dream, but it was not! The small lake was so calm that he felt like establishing a home right there. However, a stir in the waters caught his attention. There was a small glow at the bottom of the lake, which reacted to his presence. Bai Wan quickly entered the water and felt his spirit grow stronger, those waters were clearly healing. Walking around the lake in spirit, he realized why no one would enter that place alive; the magic was too powerful to let anyone escape with Chaos.

The object was a crystal mirror that appeared to be the source of the water, which flowed into the lake. Bai Wan quickly grabbed the object to his chest and felt his whole body vibrating with the energy of Chaos! He had finally succeeded. That object was the seal of the Chaos spirit.

The place quickly started to dissolve like dust; Bai Wan left the lake as soon as he felt the energy of the place explode as if a thousand stars were joining the sky. The figures started to fade and he had not even had time to study them better.

Bai Wan ran towards any exit, but the place had no escape, so when he had caught Chaos the whole place would swallow him whole.

- I do not believe it will end like this! What a dirty game! - Bai Wan protested.

Outside Chi Yu and Ch'eng Huang faced what was once an abyss. The magic that held the seal of chaos had completely dissipated like dust in the wind, all the demons escaped like slaves from prison, black dust circulated around the abyss until a light eliminated the place. Everything went up in smoke and no one was there.

- Get ready, whoever entered the abyss will surely come now! - Chi Yu shouted to the ten horsemen who surrounded what was once the abyss, but nothing came, long minutes passed what seemed like an eternity, everyone trembled with nervousness with the annihilation of the Abyss and the departure from Chaos. However, nothing has changed; no one has come out of the smoke, not even something that looks like chaos.

Chi Yu held Baoqiao and slowly moved on looking for a criminal, but even the demons escaped the seal. Until a light appeared like thunder, cutting the sky from end to end, throwing everyone who was around away, Bai Wan who was inside the light that sealed the chaos was finding his way out, was just returning his original body joining his I spirit matter. As soon as he felt his arms again and was able to walk with his normal legs, everything dissipated and he saw that he was back in his physical body.

The rays of the entrance, the demonic bodies, the statues, not everything no longer existed, he was seeing the night sky that he had always known, the crystal mirror was well guarded and his mission was complete, his clan was free and his supreme lord would soon be back.

However, it would not be so easy. Bai Wan saw, far away from him celestial figures who were recovering from the shock wave and ready to attack him, quickly he concentrated his magic and teleported to the farthest place he could, the ruins that it surrounded the abyss and from then on he ran as far as his feet could take.

Chi Yu soon caught a glimpse of a figure dressed in black who ran around the ruins, BaoQiao who was always ready for battle soon followed with him, and right behind him came Ch'eng Huang towards the criminal who had destroyed the sealed chasm.
