As long as he succeeded in embarrassing Ryan for not being able to finish this match, his goal would be achieved. However, what made him even more upset were Ryan's arrogant words. If Ryan hadn't finished completing 15 laps (1500 meters) before he finished 5 laps (500 meters) then he would be the winner!

So ridiculous, how dare a layman think he could beat the captain of this swim club? Was he still right in his mind?

When he heard Ryan's boast, he only smiled broadly. "Alright then."

On the other hand, some of Charlie's friends were referees at both ends and the audience was enthusiastic about watching them.

"How dare that person challenge Charlie?"
