It was snowing outside. The roads were all white and there were no cars on the roads, only people and children were out there, playing with snow, throwing it at each other, making snow fairies and snowmen. It was going to be Christmas in few days. Everybody was preparing for the holiday. Buying presents, decorating Christmas trees and houses, and the streets as well. Everybody was enjoying the weather.
Penelope increased the temperature on the thermostat. "Thank you for staying last night." She said without looking at him. He was responding to his emails. He looked at her, she had her head covered in a beanie. She was sitting on the couch and was drawing imaginary circles on it.
"You want to talk about it?" He asked. She didn't respond. She bit her lower lip; tears were dwelling up in her eyes. She turned her face away from him.
