Epilogue

It had been more than a week, today she was getting discharged from the hospital. A week since the misery came to an end, a week since Marissa admitted herself that she was behind everything, starting from the motorbike attack, the failed assault, the Nate trying to threaten her with the rumor, asking Alessa to pretend to be Mindy just to spy on Damen and Penelope, and then the kidnapping. She had been sent to prison because she admitted everything herself. It was an open and shut case. They had kept Penelope under observation, provided her counseling. Some of her wounds were still healing, some skin tissues were damaged more than the others and because of that she wasn't allowed to walk without support for a few more days but things were getting better. Nora helped her getting dressed and sitting in the wheelchair. She pushed it outside and walked towards the reception. Damen was already standing there holding her discharge papers. He smiled when he saw them coming towards him.
