Previously..

"I.. actually kind of remember their names, i do sometimes visit the reception desk so i sometimes get a sneak peek on the registration books." Valerie stated. "And! I actually saw them on the day they checked in!" She added, rubbing her chin, seemingly trying to remember their appearance.

"At least, tell us their names?" Natalia tilted her head questioningly as Kimberly snickered at her for being 'nosy', natalia then had her rage moment again as the two started arguing.

While the two continued arguing, i opened my can of coke as valerie yelps in surprise.

"That! It's them! The one whose moving to the rent-house this week!" Valerie screeched out, covering her mouth with the tissue box nearby as i turned my neck behind me where the latina pointed while everyone around me tried to calm the two fuming fires arguing with each other.

It's Tanya and Lawrence?

. . .

Cleavon's POV

"WHAT?!"

A loud screech echoed around the sushi restaurant as everyone inside jolted by Natalia's sudden loud voice. I winced in my seat.

"O-Oh lord.." Kynt murmured beside me as i had the same say in mind, the ash-haired girl seemed to finally reached her peak.

I swore i could see the smoke trailing out of her nostrils and ears.

"W-What?!" Valerie mirrors as she held her chest in shock, the said ash-haired girl whipped her whole body behind where the two is as they were only ordering sushi for take-out, completely unbothered.

This just added more gasoline onto Natalia's stove as she fumed completely in agitation.

"I don't want to live under the same roof as them!" She screeches once again as Kimberly covers her ear in annoyance, looking up to the ash-haired girl to see her pointing her fingers on the two.

"Then scram."

A voice spoke not far from us as we slowly turned our necks towards the voice to see Lawrence Nero Beethoven with a stank face in display.

The two locked gazes as their staring contest went on for seconds.

"Uh.. can we just go..?" Tanya groaned annoyingly, walking towards the tan with two sushi take-out boxes in hand. We locked gazes as she then immediately looked away.

"If you wouldn't dare to live with us, then move out. That's more peaceful, isn't it? Bet you're roommate agrees with that too." He turned and gave me a look as i gave him his look back. I stood up from my seat.

"Excuse me? What did you just--"

"Hey, first of all, you're an outcast. Second of all, we're the ones that'll handle the house since we were the ones who moved in first." Natalia cuts me off as i looked over at her to see her with a calm stance, my eyes widened in bewilderment.

Natalia? Wasn't she having a rage moment just now?

"Checkmate." Raya and Estelle mumbled nearby. Valerie stepped up between them.

"Now now, as the granddaughter of the owner of the residence, i ask you to please calm down now and later on. We don't want that house on fire because of you all, do we?" Valerie calmly stated, crooking a warm pleading smile.

"I said, let's go. I hate repeating myself." Tanya whined as her shoulders slouched in exasperation, her gaze snapped towards Kynt who's only finishing his plate of sushi. I internally grinned, knowingly.

"I bet you two don't know what else is wrong when you'll go now." Natalia chuckled mockingly. The two frowned questioningly at her. "I have the keys to the rent-house." She added, grinning teasingly at the two.

I looked at her in shock as well, her lips curved in a wide sinister grin.

Is this really Natalia?

"Natalia, are you drunk?" My eyebrows creased as i cupped her seemingly reddened cheeks, i paused as i quickly sprinted back to our table, grabbing a weird looking beverage can. "Is this canned beer? Natalia, did you drink this?!" I added.

Kimberly cooed, hyping up the tension. "Looks like someone's alcoholic." She remarked.

"I am not amused, one bit." I sighed as i held my nose bridge. "Natalia, we're going home." I added, grabbing both our bags from our chairs.

I walked towards the gray-haired girl as i quickly grabbed her wrist, she laughed drunkenly at me.

"Stop! That tickles!"

"I'm only holding your wrist, ms vermillion."

"B-But, i thought natalia said she'll treat me? I don't have money with me to pay for it at the moment." Kynt fumbles on his seat as i grabbed my wallet from the pocket of my bag, slamming the dollars down the table.

"Pay for us please, we're heading off now. Bye!" I bid as the others who are left on the table quickly nodded, waving back after.

I dragged the ash-haired girl out of the resto as the two followed shortly behind me, i froze.

I reached my hand out on the open as i stared intently at my outreached palm.

*drop*

A raindrop.

"It's raining.." I mumbled as i looked up the seemingly dark skies, no stars could be seen anywhere above.

"We should hurry up then, is the rent-house far?" Lawrence peeked behind me as i hummed, pondering.

"Well, as far as i remember. It's only a few blocks away from here." I said as i finally jogged out the porch of the resto. The two yelped at me to slow down as i only ignored them.

Natalia who i'm currently pulling with me laughed mockingly at them like a drunk person would do, throwing them a middle finger afterwards.

I sighed for the nth time, this is my first time handling a drunk person, who knows what this girl could do to me any moment now.

A few walks and jogs later, we finally arrived at the entrance of the subdivision. Street lights finally opened one by one as i breathed in the air i couldn't earlier.

"Holy mary, mother of god." Tanya panted beside me. We finally entered the gate of the subdivision. "I'm giving this residence a 1 out of 5." She added, sassily.

"The residence doesn't constitute to your dumbness." Natalia snorted as the tall girl glared at her.

But, as if on cue. The cemented street started eliciting more taps and pats as the rain started drizzling harder.

Tanya who's currently beside me shrieked her lungs out, zooming ahead of us.

"You don't even know where the rent house is, you doofus!" Natalia laughed once again as a swish of a cold-freezing breeze flew by making the ash-haired girl coo and shiver, snuggling beside me.

"Fuck!" Lawrence cussed behind us as i looked at him by my shoulder seeing him avoiding.. the drops of the.. rain..? I frowned at this.

"Ugh.. g-golden spoon fed idiots.." Natalia grunted beside me, i shook my head at the chaos i'm experiencing at the moment as i sped my walk.

Speaks a lot.

. . .

"For god's sake, where's the key?!"

"Oi, hurry up. Cremated hair."

"Will you two quit it?!" Natalia grumbled on her stance, digging onto the pockets of her bag while the two kept complaining and complaining for the ash-haired girl to hurry up.

I paid them no mind, i was exhausted.

I leaned myself on my knees as i took a deep breath, the smell of the soil-soaked rain entered my nose giving me a peace of mind.

Not until, these three ruined it.

"I-.. er.." Natalia trailed out, hiccuping afterwards. "I don't think-.. it's here.." She added, my head whipped towards her, don't tell me she dropped it somewhere?

"What?!" Tanya screeched for the nth time today as Lawrence nearby sighed disappointingly.

"Well, let's not be gloomy! *hic* We'll go ask for a spare key after the rain stops." The ash-haired girl hics, i puffed my cheeks gazing up the dark and dreary sky. A lightning lit up for a millisecond just now.

"No way! I'd rather die than staying outside! Just look at this disgusting weather we're in!" Tanya groans is distress, stomping grumpily. I flinched as i felt a splash of water on my arm.

As the rain started to get heavier and heavier.

I trembled in nervousness, i felt my skin crawl, my body started going cold as my lips turned dry.

"Okay, go inside then! Let's see if you could!" Natalia snaps back as Tanya only chuckled at her, running towards a window that's actually unlock.

I felt my heart rise up my chest as it started beating louder and louder, the weather didn't seem to be the reason behind it.

I fidget on my poise as i on god wished tanya would enter quickly and unlock the door, feeling the urge to get into a safer place.

"See if i could huh?!" Tanya exclaimed, trying to fit herself inside the small window, her petite and thin body made it so easy to enter.

A loud sigh was heard inside as Tanya chuckled once again, looking over at Natalia by the window, teasingly sneering at her.

"Tanya, open the door. Hurry up." Lawrence grumpily scowled as he knocked on the door, more like slammed the door. I frantically bit my lip that started to peel.

"Say the password."

"Oh, for CHRIST'S SAKE OPEN THE FU--"

They all started arguing as this didn't help me one bit, their loud deafening voices started ringing annoyingly in my ears.

It was too deafening, adding up the heavy rain as i felt my ear pulse, my hearing was slowing down. My chest and head felt heavy as it throbbed and throbbed.

So suddenly, a thunder roared.

It was the last thing i remember.
