"Cleavon! You worried us!" Natalia then bawled out once again, wrapping her arms securely around Cleavon who confusingly looked around. "You're crying as well, what happened to you?! You fainted!" She added, cupping the latter's now warm cheeks.
"You worried us to death, what the hell!" Lawrence who slicked his hair back again, grabbing a towel to dry himself up.
"The neighbors reported that someone had broken in your house, so i was worried and came here to check you guys out! But, it looks like no one did, but you all just forgot the key on the table of the sushi restaurant!" Valerie rants, holding her forehead as she wipes her sweat off.
"So, what happened?!" Tanya who has the same face as everyone else looked over towards the brunette.
As she fainted once again.
. . .
"CLEA--!!"
"She's asleep."
"Oh.. thank god.." Natalia sighs in relief, looking over the sleeping brunette as she reached her hand out to feel the latter's mellow reddened cheeks. It was surprising, because not so long earlier all the color was drained out of the said girl and now her cheeks were rouged thickly.
"She just suddenly fainted out of nowhere! Me and this cremated hair idiot were just arguing and- and--"
"How about we all relax first, knowing that Freyja is fine now, we could use some peace of mind.." Lawrence sighed heavily, his once shaking hands were now finally serene, rubbing them for warmth afterwards.
By being the only man and only matured man- as he proclaimed to himself -knew that he should be the one to handle these kinds of situations, but either way, he wasn't wrong.
"Maybe, she fainted because of the cold! Oh my god, i should've ran here faster to give you guys the key.." Valerie grunts, clasping her hair in distress.
"No.." Natalia utters. "Maybe.. it's my fault.. i forgot the key.. i was reckless.." She trailed off, but before the ash-haired girl could continue Tanya cuts her off mid-way.
"I did something wrong too.." Tanya murmured, all heads turned to her. "I didn't open the door fast enough.. i'm really sorry." The latter had her head down as the three gazed at her in shock, tanya was apologizing.. genuinely..?
"Tsk, stop blaming yourselves." Lawrence scowled. "You two, freyja's your friend, right?" He added making the two bob their heads. "Then, you two should know that Freyja wouldn't like everyone to blame themselves, i could tell from one look. She's that kind of person." He muttered, looking over the latter.
A wave of silence engulfed them as the rain's drips and drops on the rooftop was the only sound that's echoing around them.
"I-.. I should take her to your room. Where is it?" Lawrence, being the only male on the house stammers in hesitance, but he had to take the girl to her room so they could organize everything and take care of the brunette.
"About that.." Natalia trailed out, standing up from the floor. "There's only two rooms. Boys and girls." She added, making Tanya and Lawrence perk up.
"Who else is in the house with you?" The tanned boy asked, carrying the feverish brunette in a bridal style as he turned back to the ash-haired girl.
"Just us two."
"Only two rooms?!" Tanya remarked, looking over the granddaughter of the owner of the residence who shot her the same look.
"You can move to another house, if you want. Another someone else's rent-house." Valerie tilts her head domineeringly making the other glare at the young latina.
"Ugh.. i- fine!" Tanya groans in defeat, standing up from the couch. "And nero! What about our things outsi--!!"
"Natalia." Valerie calls out as the ash-haired girl approached her. "Take care of Cleavon, i should be going now, the rain would storm harder later on." She sternly added, patting Natalia's shoulder before racing out. "I should look for more people to move in with you, it'd be a trouble living with those two" She added, before finally leaving their yard.
Natalia sighed wearily, all the things that happened earlier had her burned out.
She ponders as she locks the front door, what happened to cleavon?
. . .
'The weather..?' The ash-haired girl whispered to herself, placing the cold damped towel onto the brunette's forehead, she insisted to take care of the girl. Of course, who else would she put the work on?
Definitely not the two.
Taking and processing all of what has happened earlier at the living room downstairs, the clear and vivid image of the fainted girl flashed onto her mind like a photograph.
She jolted from her stance, her hands trembled as she slumps herself down the floor. It was too much to remember and she didn't want that to happen again.
It's only the first week of the university and uncountable happenings had already happened, the ash-haired girl pinned non-existentially on her head to take better care of the girl.
Who knows what will happen next..
"Here."
Tanya's voice made the ash-haired girl jolt once again, the latter quickly looked behind her to see the other tossing a golden-looking pack to the ash-haired girl.
"What's this?" Natalia asked, reading the name displayed on the pack.
"It's a high-class fever patch, it's expensive so give it to her when she sleeps and just let it cool there overnight. You don't know that, because you can't afford it, that's why." The sassy girl pompously remarked, though the latter didn't really pay a mind on that.
Even if the Tanya- including the other tanned boy on the other room was being despicable who are also being so full of themselves, she still couldn't avoid the fact that they helped Vanessa earlier.
It was all good enough and not worth arguing to.
Her small internal perch didn't even get to realize that the sleeping brunette has already woken up.
Cleavon bolted up from her bed before dashing towards the bathroom, the ash-haired girl flinched as she gasped, quickly trailing behind the latter.
"Cleavon! What happened?!" Natalia quirked, entering the bathroom, the ash-haired girl couldn't believe that the brunette managed to go downstairs just to dash towards the bathroom as if the girl didn't fell unconscious earlier.
The ash-haired girl arrived at the bathroom only to witness something she promised she'd never let to happen.
Cleavon who's currently coiled up by the toilet, almost vomiting her gut out, her dark damped hair was all over the place as her cold quivering hands held the toilet's seat open.
Natalia who didn't utter any word quickly zoomed towards the brunette, assisting her. Tying her hair onto a ponytail as she held out the toilet seat for the latter.
The gray-haired girl swore she didn't care anymore if she'd look like a mom or the other's girlfriend.
"C, please.. what the hell happened?!" Natalia begged for the brunette to reply, cleavon who's currently catching her breath, sluggishly shook her head, telling the ash-haired girl to not ask questions yet.
Even if the said gray-haired girl was persistent and eager for an answer, she chose to shut her mouth close.
She can't be hard-headed at times like these yet.
Plus, she didn't want the brunette to feel bad than she already do. It was her priority to take care and only take care of Cleavon tonight.
"Do you want to eat? Water? Are you already full? If you are, would you like to take painkillers if something hurts in you?"
The gray-haired girl bombards with question, only making the other's head spin, puzzled.
"I'm-.. tired.." The panting girl croaked out, "-..don--.." She stammered out, she couldn't even complete a word, her panting kept on stopping her mid-way.
Natalia furiously shook her head, stopping Cleavon from talking once more, "Stop it, you're exhausting yourself." She sighed, grabbing the latter by the waist as she wraps the said brunette's arm around her shoulder, assisting her upstairs.
"I swear to god, cleavon. Eat immediately when you wake up and don't even try coming to school tomorrow at your condition." The gray-haired girl huffed out, placing the girl down the mattress once again. "Also! St--!!"
"St-Stop.. talking.." The other tiredly hummed out, grunting as she wraps the thick blanket around her freezing figure. The ash-haired girl shot her a jokingly offended look.
"Look who called me stubborn on the second day of class." Natalia mockingly chortled as she sighed heavily afterwards, sitting down the floor as she stares at the dark-haired girl as she sleeps.
"How creepy of you." Tanya snickered from the top bed making the ash-haired girl shoot her a glare, rolling her eyes in defense.
"Shut it, chameleon."
"Did you just--?! Excuse me?! This is a herbal mask! It's for my natural skin to stay its way! How incompetent of you.."
"People with natural skins d--"
"--are not like you--"
"EXCU--"
"Can-.. you please s-stop ta-- *BLURGH*" The brunette blurts out, spluttering all over the floor, the two arguing girls gasped in shock, a lightning flashed inside, as if their gasp was completely synchronized with the weather.
Well, it really actually was.
"Cleavon! Not again!"
