page 3. Rowans House

"Im sorry to disappoint Tara but i use my middle name for business." she couldn't think clearly.

"yeah i noticed.. take a seat.." Rowan sat down slow and graceful. "so you have news to report?"

that's what Rowan made plans for. he chose the option to have a random journalist help. so here she was.

"yes that's what i need thank you Tara." "you may call me Ms, Koi here." Rowan sighed with a smile on his face.

"okay then you call me Mr, Hendrix here." Tara liked the game he was playing today.

"okay then Mr'Hendrix. so what do you have to report?"

"a crime." He said calmly. "what! you should go to the cops not me!" Tara closed her eyes sucking in a deep breath, she had to be quiet and kind at work.

"sorry" she muttered. "you need to go to the proper place for this info, if you get me involved i could lose my job.." Tara said slow and calm.

"i tried."

"okay okay.. what happened." She settled.

"someone i know took something from my family." "keep going." "his name is.....never mind i know how to handle this."

rowan got up with to much force the chair he was sitting in almost fell over. "rowan!! be careful id have to pay for that!" she spit out his name forgetting she was at work, not alone with him.

but she didn't have the money for his mistakes at the moment "come with me." rowan said with to much curiousness in his voice.

"i have work. i cant." "what time do you get off?" what was he planning?

"six." "ill pick you up." "this inst happening to me.. fine see you then." Tara would like to think she hated him, she really didnt how could she?

rowan went to grab the door handle. the whisper spoke. "STOP HIM!" "wait rowan!" he turned around pleased with her objection. "i can tell my boss i feel sick!" "okay? go on then." Rowan said gesturing at Taras phone.

Tara pulled out her phone and dialed her bosses and explained her symptoms "yes you can go home get well soon Tar- i mean Ms'Koi" "thank you Ms'yurner"

before Tara could hang up Rowan grabbed her hand with force. "lets go." Rowan said sounding more mad then he should be.

"im going!" Rowan practically dragged Tara out of the building but not before Grayson and Tara locked eyes. "Grayson.." Tara said with sadness in her voice. Rowan dragged Tara into his car.

"where are we going?" "my house." "your what!!" "my house? are you def?" "i might as well be!" "just calm down Tara." "you want me to calm down when your taking me to your house!"

"its nothing." Tara starting picturing his house. considering how he dressed he seemed high class Tara wouldn't know until she got there, so she decided to calm down.

"im glad you cant read me like a book now.." Tara said bitterly. "oh come on now! its not that bad."

Rowan moved his energy for Tara to read. she faught against it. Rowan retreated. "sorry." he muttered. They were driving 10 over the speed limit. "slow down." Tara with anger in voice "its alright Tara." Rowan said with a chuckle in his voice. "fine." Tara ended in defeat.

They arrived at Rowans house. it was marvelous. the outside was old black stone, 3 levels. it looked like something from a book. "wow.." Tara said with a dazzling smile.

Rowan smiled at her with just as big of a dazzling smile. "do you like it?" "yes but why are we here again?" "i have to get someone to do something for me." "oh okay so you want me to wait out here?" "no.. come?" Rowan said putting his hand out. Tara was worried for what was inside, she took his hand willingly. letting out a deep sigh. "it will be alright Tara its not to scary." she only answered with a smile. His hand felt like fire in hers, she liked the tingly feeling his hand gave hers. They began walking to the door. A woman that was short and round with bright red hair opened the door. "good afternoon Mr'Hendrix." "and to you Lydia. id like to talk to Eric?" "hes getting ready for a meeting im sure he wont mind." "okay." rowan spun around to face Tara "would you like to go to dinner and spend the night Tara?" "um.. okay sure." she wasnt good at saying no, though she didnt know if she would have said no if the chance came up. "okay then, come in." Tara stepped into a black and white marble foyer. with a large black piano in the middle of the room. "may i?" Tara asked stepping closer to the piano. "if you know how." Tara smiled taking a seat on the stool. letting go of Rowans hand felt sad to her. she blinked at the ache in her chest. she started playing a new piece. "wow.." Rowan breathed. "thank you." "wait here while i go handle something?" "okay." "Lydia?" "yes sir?" "stay with her. i dont want her wandering and getting lost." Tara snapped her head around and stuck her tongue out at him. Rowan smiled back. they were getting oddly friendly, it felt right and peaceful, so they didnt mind much
