Chapter twenty-six{Marmony}I

Blood.

Gracie was sure she did saw blood and not red paint, but Chloe had laughed and called her weird. It wasn't funny to her the way Chloe thought it was. And it was strange how Mrs. Adam dismissed the both of them and asked them to get back to counter instead of worry about something less important. 

Gracie was frustrated till the end of the shift or Chloe told her to go home by 7pm and asked her to resume work the next day.

"Bye, weirdo!" she heard Chloe laughed as she exited the building, she inhaled the smooth air of evening. 

 She hugged herself and processed to walk on the sidewalk while she enjoyed everything in view. 

Mary Hills might be a small town where almost everyone knew each other, but it was a paradise on it own. Maybe it was due to the fact that lots of rich and influential people decided to reside here and develop it into a mini heaven or the town ancestors were really hard working.
