Nicholas pocketed his hands while he watched the drama unfolding right before him.

"You didn't tell me you were coming over." Gracie said all flashy the instant they detached from one another.

"Your grandma..." He ticked his forehead with a finger like he was stirring up something, "hmm, she invited me for dinner."

"Uh... Typical Lily." She giggled.

For a moment she forgot Nicholas stood there with them until she heard someone cleared their throat and it wasn't Jared. She made a side glance at him before she attained a decision to make an introduction between the two.

"Hmm, Jared, this is Nicholas, he's my... History partner." She nipped on her lower lips real hard.
