Chapter Seventy-eight

The sleep hit different on Gracie's body, in fact she slept with her mouth opened and a very low sound emitted from her. It wasn't until the curtain was shift and the sunbeam flashed on her face, she opened her eyes slowly.

First she did remembered grandma Lily to be tall and lean or to say she had short hair that with the aid of the sun shone like honey, her hair was white, she didn't have strong chin and sharp jaw.

So, it was not her grandma but an intruder.

She jumped on the bed, gathering the duvet to her chest as she rubbed her eyes with one of her palm.

She opened them again to see a clear image of Nicholas.

Why was she in her room?

"What are you doing here?" She spluttered, hiding more in her duvet.

He eyed her up down and chuckled, tilting his head aside. He removed one hand from his pocket and brush his hair back, "you didn't seriously just asked that?" He turned to her with a witty yet arrogant look.
