Chapter Eighty-two

Gracie's shift was short because most of the time she was absentminded even when Chloe was giving her an update about the new upgrade in the diner, like the new paintings and all.

Immediately it was eight, Gracie didn't waste time before switching clothes and ran out of the place. She didn't even say bye to Mrs. Adam, all that was on her mind was to confront the people she was living with about the affair of the town or... perhaps run away before getting killed.

However, unfortunately she met the winter of outside, she saw Nicholas resting against a blue car. Definitely his and he was not wearing anything black tonight, he had a grey hoodie and blue jean on, on beanie or scarf. He was a vampire after all, he wouldn't be as cold she was.

She groaned, "This doesn't look good." she muttered to herself.

Despite the distant, Nicholas surely heard her because he smiled widely in his charming way at her as she waited to cross the road after the car passing.
