Chapter One hundred-eight

This Monday hit different on Gracie's body, she was pissed. Even when Principal Hill broke the sad news that Pete was missing. She paid no attention while Tori held her arm, squeezing it for support.

Gracie thought only about how to prove to that asshole upper crust vampire that she was more than a feeble human.

When the bell was rang, she stepped outside with Tori, clinging to her like she just found out about his disappearance. Well, all for deception.

Jenny was outside waiting for them.

"Principal Hills is so unbelievable, did you hear what he said about postponing the exam. I had a fever over night because of this stupid exam and now this." Jenny whined, complaining.

"He did?" Gracie was surprise, she obviously didn't hear anything.

Jenny sighed as they walked with the crowd finding their different ways, "Y….esss, he did. How come you didn't hear anything? Weirdo."

"My mind just dabbed off." Gracie sucked in.
