Grudge

"There," Uriel signaled a mountain right behind a deep forest, "inside that mountain, the bodies of at least fifty nerum soldiers are resting."

"Are you sure?" the Duke looked ahead, but he couldn't feel any human soul around that place. Even his shadows couldn't detect the smell of blood.

"Yes," Uriel moved forward inside the forest, "though, thinking again, this country had changed a lot. I hope no one had discovered them, or we might have trouble."

The forest was dark and colder with every step they took inside. Not many animals were moving around, but most likely because of the presence of the mighty dragon child than anything. The tall trees looked even taller while they kept walking, they seemed old and with roots firm enough to believe they had lived centuries guarding the mountain, to keep the shadows alive even during summer.

However, there was something strange about the forest.
