The Duke's Unavoidable Attraction

"What is going on here?" one of the Duke's knights whispered. They had finally come up from one of the tunnel's entrances as they heard shouts and fighting moves above.

They heard the shouts and the thousands of steps running and moving the ground in a frenzied tone. The Knights couldn't help but get out from the tunnels, they were frightened of what those screams and yells could mean. The others followed them and the sight was terrifying. Utter chaos.

Keno and the army with them arrived at the entrance of the Capital but the sight of the beautiful walls and the prosperous city from before was completely shattered. They were violently attacked by a group of soldiers, not converted ones, but mere human soldiers, from some nobles and generals army from Docrem, traitors. They didn't have trouble passing through the light barriers, so the intense battle was against the soldiers and knights still loyal to Docrem.
