"How can you tell a person what you feel about that person if you can't muster any strength to swallow your pride just to say what you want to say?"

That was the question Vin Santos kept asking himself. Still he wasn’t sure on how to do that. He never experienced that feeling before. Since that start of high school, he always got caught up in different criminal cases. But on the last year of high school, things would change. 

He never thought he'd be off track. He can't sing when he want to. He became deaf and is now having a hard time following the beat. The tunes and lyrics are now disconnected. He can't remember the songs he sung, and he realized “I’ve lost my music”.

"You don't want to know…" Ranvier

I looked at Ranvier quizzically. What does he mean by that? I don't know if I can believe I've read inside the envelope. They are not who they seemed to be. Why lie? Or is Ranvier the one who's lying. What could Daron be hiding? What could Ranvier be hiding?

"Maybe when the time is right, whether you like it or not, you'll know the real Daron… Right, about your exam." Ranvier

"Can we talk about that later? I just need to rest for a while."

I turned my back towards Ranvier and pretended to sleep just to avoid talking to him. I shifted my position and leaned my head on Ranvier's shoulder. I don't know why I did that, but by doing that I feel somehow secure. Like being held by your parents when you were just a little child, like he's the father I never had.
