"How can you tell a person what you feel about that person if you can't muster any strength to swallow your pride just to say what you want to say?"

That was the question Vin Santos kept asking himself. Still he wasn’t sure on how to do that. He never experienced that feeling before. Since that start of high school, he always got caught up in different criminal cases. But on the last year of high school, things would change. 

He never thought he'd be off track. He can't sing when he want to. He became deaf and is now having a hard time following the beat. The tunes and lyrics are now disconnected. He can't remember the songs he sung, and he realized “I’ve lost my music”.

"Wait so you and Ranvier know each other?"

I averted my eyes and looked back to Darvin, waiting for an answer. He looked at Ranvier before he could answer me.

"Uhm… yeah, we were classmates back in high school." Darvin

"Oh, I just remembered. Thank you, Vin. We never had the chance to say thank you to you, so on behalf of our family thank you." Darvin

"Thank you? For what? Did I do something?"

I looked at him and then to Ranvier. Confused, I tried to remember everything I did to their family to deserve a thank you. But nothing resurfaced from my memories. I looked at Darvin blankly, waiting for him to remind me what happened.

"Did you forget? Almost two years ago you rescued Daron from the kidnappers. After that all we can hear from Daron are the cases you handled. I'm truly thankful you rescued my little brother." Darvin
