Chapter 2: Rise Of The Angel War Part 2

Beowulf 1: There they are.

Beowulf 2: What took you so long?

Jake: Sorry were late.

Dust: Is everything ready?

Beowulf 1: Of course it is, we were just waiting for guys.

Jake: Alright, let's do this.

There was a heard a Goliath's passing through the city of Mountain Glenn, but what they didn't realize that there was Bandits were there to ambush.

Jake: You guys ready?

Dust: Yeah, we're all set.

Jake: Alright, when they get close enough give them the signal.

The bandits were ready to head the Goliath's into a trap, then Dust flew down to the leader of the herd to tell him it's a trap, now the leader sounds off the others of the trap.

Bandit Leader: hmm?

Bandit: What is it boss?

Bandit Leader: Something not right.

Female Bandit: What do you want to do?

Bandit Leader: We do it now, (On Radio) alright everybody listen up, you all know the plan, so get ready for the biggest payday ever.

All Bandit's: (On Radio) yes sir.

Bandit Leader: (On Radio) Sniper's, are you ready?

Sniper 1: Ready.

Sniper 2: Lock'n loaded.

Sniper 3: Yeah I'm rea-(Radio Cut's off).

Bandit Leader: What? (On Radio) Sniper 3 do you copy?

The Bandit leader tried to contact Sniper 3 but all he heard was static.

Bandit Leader: Damn it (On Radio)Sniper 1 and 2, do you see Sniper 3

Sniper 1: No, not from here

Sniper 2: Hang on, I see his rifle, but I don't se-(Cut Off)

Bandit Leader: Sniper 2 come in? Do you read me? Sniper 1 quick check your six.

Sniper 1: (Radio Static)

Bandit Leader: (On Radio) Everyone we just lost with are Sniper's we might have to withdraw.The bandits withdraw back to their camp letting the Goliath's go for now. On their way back to their camp they found their tents and equipment destroyed and there food missing.

Bandit 1: What the hell.

Bandit 2: Somebody trashed the place.

The Bandit's tried to search for anything that was still in use.

Bandit Leader: Anything?

Bandit 1: All the food and weapons are gone, the tents and radio is destroyed, and we got nothing.

Bandit Leader: (Grunts, Punches Broken Radio) damn it!

Bandit 1: Uh boss?

Bandit Leader: What?

The bandit pointed at a small figure approaching the camp, it was Jake hiding in long black torn cloak and wearing a white fang mask but it was black with red lining.

Bandit leader: (Grunts, Pull Out His Gun) Who are you!? Did you do this!?

Jake : (Nodded)

Bandit Leader: (Grunts) I"M GONNA KILL YOU!!!

Then out of nowhere the Grimm came out woods and surrounded the bandit's in the center of the camp. they were very confused on what was happening then Jake the stomped his foot on the ground, then four big King Taijitu came out of the ground causing a hole in the ground and then the bandit's fell right through and now they trapped. In that moment Jake pulled out the three sniper's he knocked out and tossed them in the hole with the other's, soon after Jake and the Grimm went back to the river bank and took off his disguise.

Dust: Well I think that went well.

Jake: Yeah (Looks at Mask).

Dust: What's wrong?

Jake: I just...I just hate wearing this stupid mask.

Dust: Because of the animal people

Jake: (Clenches Fists) Yeah

???: Never mourn the past young one.

Jake saw a big Nevermore right next to him then he lowered his head and nuzzled his beak on Jake head then Jake gave the Nevermore a big hug.  

Jake: Hey Vulture.

Vulture: I heard you and the other's saved the Goliath's from the human's

Jake: Yeah it wasn't too hard.

Vulture: I bet, listen when you ready Mammoth would like to talk to you.

Jake: Okay (Leaves).

Dust: You didn't tell him?

Vulture: Not yet...not yet.

Jake went over to the river and saw a few of his friend's rough housing.

???: Hey it's Jake.

Jake: Hey Raze, Hey Boog, how is it going.

Raze: It's going great now that I'm kick this Ursa's butt!

Boog: You Beowulf's are all the same think you so big and so bad! (Tackle's Him)

Raze: (Hold's His Ground) That all you got!

Raze went under Boog and he wrap his arms his waist and tossed him on his back then Raze went on top of him to try and hold him down and clam victory but Boog smack Raze with his paw then knock Raze off of him and then got back on their feet.

Boog: I'm still standing dog!

Raze: (Growls) not for long!

Boog and Raze charged at each other and put their paws together trying to push one or the other on their back.  

Jake: (laughs) We'll make sure no one gets hurt.

???: JAKE!!!

Jake: Oh no-(Gets Tackled)

Jake gets tackled by a medium small white King Taijitu and wrap itself around him and started strangling him.

Jake: (Struggling) It's great to see you Light, but can you let me go.

Light: But do you know how long I was waiting for you.

Jake: It was only for a few hours.

Light: Do you know I missed you so much (Strangling Harder)

Jake: (Choking) I-It's nice that you mi-miss me. B-But i wi-will miss...breathing.

Dust (Fly's in) okay you to knock it off, light your killing him.

Light: (Annoyed) Oh look the pigeon showed up.

Dust: yeah it's me ya glow worm

Light: (Grunts)

Dust: seriously, let him go he look like he's going to pass out.

Jake: (Struggling) to late...(Pass Out)

Light: No! Jake, don't leave me! NO!

Dust: Calm down, he just pass out, but that's what you get for strangling him.

Light: Don't judge me for being in love.

Dust: You do realize that he might not feel the same way about you.

Light: How would you know, I bet you never been in love before bird brain.

Dust: Well at least I have more sense than you snake oil.

Light: (Grunts) Tiny urkey!

Dust: (Snake Voice) Slippery snake.

Dust and Light started to butt heads when a black King Taijitu tail whip the both of them on the head.

Dust: OW!!! What the hell Dark!

Light: OWIE!!! Brother that hurt!

Dark: Well it was the only thing to get your attention.

Jake: Ugh, Dark what happen?

Dark: Nothing you need to worry about.

Jake: (Confused) Ok. Anyway where's Sumo?

Dark: That's why I'm here, he said he found some sort of old abandoned human house in the woods we were wondering if you guys wanted to come check it out.

Jake: Hm I guess, but I need to talk to Chief first so just wait for me.

Dark: Okay.

Jake walked up to Mammoth, leader of the Goliath's with curiosity on what he wanted to talk to him about.

Jake: (Walks up To Chief) Hello chief.

Mammoth: There is no need to call me chief, we have been friends for years, and you can call me Mammoth.

Jake: (Chuckle) Sorry but I feel comfortable calling you Chief.

Mammoth: Hmph okay.

Jake: Ao what do you want to talk about?

Mammoth: First of all I hear you and your friends are going to an abandoned human house.

Jake: (Nervous Laugh) What, hehehe.....how did you now?

Mammoth: You can't fool the ears (Wiggle Ear's)

Jake: (Nervous Laugh)

Mammoth: And secondly I want you to take Tantor with you.

Jake looks over to Tantor looking at a bird, it tweets and Tantor gets spooked and fall's over.

Jake: Tantor is okay, but no disrespect Chief but when it comes to Human's, Danger, or anything new he either runs or tries to hide, he's not very adventuress.

Mammoth: I know he can get a little nervous sometimes but he looks up to you, and soon he will be chief of the Goliaths someday, going with you will be a good experience.

Jake: Hmm.....okay but if things go wrong I can't promise this can go well.

Mammoth: I know.

Jake and his friends made it to the abandoned house where Sumo the Boarbatusks was waiting for them.

Jake: Hey Sumo.

Sumo: Hey guy's, how the hunt go.

Jake: It went alright. So is this the place?

Sumo: You know it, wanna have a look.

Jake: I don't know, it look's creepy.

Light: (Slither's on Jake) Yeah it does look creepy, but don't worry you'll protect me right.

Jake: Uh...sure thing.

Jake and the other's went in the house and everything was Burned, Ruin, Faded, and Broken.

(Creak's)

Tantor: Eeep! What was that!

Dark: Relax this place is falling apart, you're bound to hear noises.

Raze: (laughs)

Tantor: Not funny!

Dust: Eh it was a little funny.

Jake sees an old drawing that looks like it was made by a kid, Jake picked up the picture and is was parsley burned but he could see that it was a little girl with her Mom and Dad.

Jake: Do you think a human family lives here?

Raze: Did more like.

Jake: (Put's Down Picture, Sighs)

Dust: You okay?

Jake:...Yeah.

Boog: Geez, this place has gone to hell.

Raze: (Sniff's)

Dark: What is it?

Raze: (Sniff's) Human.

Dark: (Point's At Jake) Him?

Raze: No (Sniff's, Look's Outside) THEM!

Everyone panics and looks outside through the window and sees a little girl with long yellow hair all beat up and exhausted pulling a wagon with a girl with a red hood asleep in it.

Tantor: hu-hu-human! (Hides behind shelf)

Raze: Stop making noise you idiot.

Light: What do we do?

Jake: Hide.

Dust and Raze hid up on the upper floor level, Tantor was already hiding behind the shelf, Dark and Light dug a small hole and hid, Jake grab a tarp a covered Boog and sumo, and the little girl was just outside ready to enter the house.

Yang: (Painting) Don't worry Ruby...your big sister Yang will protect you.

Ruby: Zzzzzzz Zzzzzzz.

Jake peek's over and sees the little girl all exhausted and hurt, then he's get up to help her.

Dark: Jake, what are you doing?

Jake: She looks hurt, I have to help.

Dust: Are you crazy, she human?

Jake: So am I.

Jake slowly walk up to the injured girl, then she sits down then she hears a noise then she slowly look's up and sees a pair of red eyes's.

Yang: (Whimper's, Grab's A Metal Pipe, Goes To Ruby) St-stay away from us...you hear me!

Jake slowly walk's out of the light, then Yang see a boy in a black torn coat, bare foot, and a beanie looking hat.

Yang: Who...who are you?

Jake: (Gets Closer)

Yang: (Swing's Pipe) Stay away!

Jake: (Grab's Pipe)

Yang: (Punch's Him in the Gut)

Jake: (Grunts)

Yang: I said stay away!

Jake: even when she weak, she is strong.

Yang: (Winced In Pain)

Jake once again gets closer, then Yang swing's the pipe at Jake, then he grab's the pipe then he toss it away.

Yang: (Winced in Pain) Pl-please don't hurt us.

Jake: (Grab Yang's Arm)

Yang: Huh, what are you doing?

Jake: (Look's At Wound, Gently Touches It)

Yang: Ow, that hurts!

Jake: (lick's wound)

Yang: Gross! (Punch's Him)

Yang punch's Jake and he goes flying against the wall, but she didn't feel any pain.

Yang: Hey (Move's Finger's) that didn't hurt.

Jake: (Groan's In Pain)

Yang: Oh, sorry! (Help's Him Up)

The room became silent as the two children stared at each other with curiosity.

Yang: Um...my name is Yang-Xiao-long, what's your name?

Jake:.....

Yang: What's the matter, can't you talk

Jake: (Shakes Head)

Yang: Oh...well it's nice to meet you, and thank you for fixing my arm, oh and this is my sister Ruby.

Jake: (Pokes Ruby)

Yang: (Smack's Hand) She's sleeping.

Jake: (rubes His Hand)

Raze: (Whisper's) Jake I smell three Beowulf's behind the house.

Jake and Yang both look at the three pairs of red eyes, Jake quickly grab's Yang and Ran.

Yang: Wait, I have to get Ruby! (Grab's Wagon)

the three Beowulf's charged after them hitting a part of the house causing it to fall on top of them, Jake sees the house falling, and he quickly grab Yang and Ruby and pushes them outside sending them to safety but Jake got trap under the rubble.

Jake: (Coughs, Grunts)

Dark: Jake are you okay?

Jake: Yeah (Grunt) but I'm stuck.

Boog: So are we.

Dust: Not me, I can get out easily.

Jake: The girl, is she out?

Dust gets out and looked around for Yang and Ruby

Dust: Yeah, they got out.

Jake: (Sighs)

Dust: The yellow hair looks a little hurt but her fin-wait (Look At Smoke) I see something.

Jake: What is it?

Dust: Oh no.

Jake: Dust, what is it?

Dust: The Beowulf's got through to the other side.

Jake: Oh no (Tries to Lift Rubble) we have to help.

Raze: How we're stuck to.

Jake: Dust, can you try to help them?

Dust: Mm, I'll try.

Dust swoops in and tries to stop them by poking one of there heads but one of them swat's him to the ground.

Dust: (In Pain) I'm sorry Jake...but I can't stop them...there to strong.

Jake: Oh no (Grunts, Tries to Lift the Rubble)

The Beowulf we're about to attack then out of nowhere a man hold a huge scythe kill's the Grimm

Jake: (Grunts) Dust, what happening?

Dust: A human saved them.

Jake: What human?

Dust: Some older human came out of nowhere and saved the little human.

Jake: Are they okay?

Dust: the little humans look asleep, but they look alright.

Jake: What happening now?

Dust: They are leaving.

Jake: Can you guys get us out of here.

Dark: We can't, if we move the rubble, the rest of the house is going to crush us.

Boog: So we're stuck here?

Light: What do we do now?

Jake: Dust, can you still fly.

Dust: Yeah.

Jake: Go find Vulture, and tell him we need help.

Dust: Alright (Fly's off)

Dust Fly's off to go get help, it is the middle of the day and Dust and Vulture came back to help.

Vulture: Are you all okay?

Jake: Yeah, we're okay.

Vulture: (Flies Up, Grabs and Lift's Rubble)

Jake: Thanks for saving us.

Vulture:...You're welcome

Jake: Is everything okay?

Vulture: I need to talk to for a moment, please come with me.

Jake and Vulture walk into the woods because Vulture wanted to talk to Jake in private without the others hearing what he has to say to Jake, because what he might say to him might break his heart as well as the others, the walked far enough from the others then Vulture stopped and turned around and looked at Jake and he looked back at him with worry because he is concerned on what he has to say to him.     

Vulture:...Jake.

Jake!?

Vulture: (Deep Breath) You...you have to go.

Jake: Go? Go were? Back to the heard? am I in trouble?

Vulture: No you're not in trouble Jake, it's just that.....

Jake: It's what?

Vulture: You don't belong with us, you belong with your own kind.

Jake: But the herd is my home, and you're all my family.

Vulture: (Warp Wing around Him) I know Jake. The herd will always be your home, and we will always be your family.

Jake: Then why are you sending me away?

Vulture: Because there is a Storm coming, and I need to make sure that you won't get hurt when it get here.

Jake: But we always had a storm, and we always came out of it.

Vulture: This is not the kind of storm we can just sit and wait out this storm will reach over the world of Remnant and all who live in it will be wiped away, Human, Faunus, even we Grimm will not be a chance to stand against it.

Jake: But-

Vulture: No but's, look this is hard enough already so please listen, we are trying to protect you, to give you a chance of to live, to keep you safe, and I'll be damned if something bad were to happen to you on my watch.

Jake: (Tears)

Vulture: (Nuzzling Head) I'm sorry Jake.

Jake: (Sniffles) Can I least say goodbye to the others?

Vulture: Of course.

Jake and Vulture walked out of the woods and told his friends what Vulture told him, and like him they did not take it well, Jake and the other's went back to the herd and told everyone what happen, he went to his spot and grab a backpack that he had when he lived with his Human family, then he got all he needed and was ready to leave, everyone was waiting for Jake's send off.

Vulture: All you have to do is head in this direction and you should reach a human village.

Jake: (Silent)

Vulture: Please don't be sad, this is for the best.

Jake: I know.

Jake left the herd, each step he took felt like he was leaving them for dead, but luckily for him some people don't listen.

Dust: Hey wait for me.

Jake: Dust, what are you doing here?

Dust: I'm going with you.

Jake: You can't, you should be with the herd.

Dust: No.

Jake: Dust go back!

Dust: No, I'm going with you!

Jake: Dust.

Dust: Jake I've know you since you can barely walk, I've help Vulture raised you, and I'm not going to let you go until I see you have a full life.

Light: Wait, we're coming to.

Jake: What are you guy's doing here?

Light: Were going with you.

Jake: What no, you should go back.

Raze: Were not going let you do this alone.

Jake: Do what?

Raze: That (Point At Hand)

Jake had bracelet that Yang had on her wrist when they met, and when the Grimm attack and the house fell Jake grab the bracelet when he pushed Yang and Ruby to safety.

Jake: She lost this because of me, I have to return it to her.

Light: (Jealous, Squeeze's Him) What does this human have that I don't?

Jake: (Struggles) For starters, a body that won't kill me.

Dark: (Tail Whip) Enough little sister.

Light: (Rub's Head) Owie, big brother your so mean.

Dark: She's right though, we're going with you.

Jake: Why?

Light: Because you're my darling, and I would hate you to be so lonely without me.

Jake: (Nervous Laugh)

Dark: I have come to watch my sister, and make sure she doesn't kill you.

Jake: (Chuckle) Good point.

Raze: Me and Boog and Sumo are not going to let a wrecking buddy get away that easily.

Boog: Yeah, we're welded!

Sumo: We got each other's back.

Jake: (Laugh's) What about you Tantor, it will be dangerous.

Tantor: I'm aware of that there will be danger, but you guys are my friend's and all I've ever wanted was to be brave like you guys, but all I ever do is run away, but I'm not going run away from my friends.

Jake: Are you guys sure about this?

Light: Yep.

Dark: Of course.

Raze: To the end.

Boog: Yeah.

Sumo: Let's do this.

Tantor: (Nod's)

Jake: (Smiles) Okay, thank you, all of you.

Dust: Alright, so what's the plan?

Jake: (Look at Bracelet, Smile) We go forward (starts Running)

Jake and his friend's started running forward on their journey to return the bracelet to Yang, but what they didn't realize that the storm that Vulture mention is also in that direction, but I have a feeling that they'll be ready
