Chapter 6: Be Careful What You Wish For

Jake has stepped into the doors of Beacon and made him a little nervous but what made him more nervous was there were so many people there because he spent his whole life being raised by Grimm it made him more nervous to be around humans but he keeps reminding himself on why he's there and what he's supposed to do, meanwhile he wound a spot to sit and he tries to look for Yang or Ruby but he can't because the room was to crowded a man named Professor Ozpin the Headmaster of Beacon was on the stage trying to get everyone's attention.

Ozpin: Ahem...I'll keep this brief. You have traveled here today in search of knowledge. To hone your craft and acquire new skills. And when you have finished, you plan to dedicate your life to the protection of the people. But I look amongst you and I see is wasted energy in need of purpose, direction you assume knowledge will free you of this but your time at this school will prove that knowledge can only carry you so far. it is up to you to take the first step (Walks Away).

Glynda: You will gather in the ballroom tonight. Tomorrow your initiation begins. Be ready. You are dismissed.

everyone was a little confused by Ozpin's words, meanwhile Jake couldn't take it being in the room with all those people so he step out for some air when he encountered Crowley waiting for him by the door.

Crowley: My, my, my, look at you, barely even ready to spread your wings.

Jake took one good look at Crowley and was able to see past through his meat suit and see his true face which shook Jake to his spine.

Crowley: So you can see it can you, which means you nearly there.

Jake:!?

Crowley: Okay this might hurt a little but I swear it's coming this conversation a whole lot easier (puts index fingers on his forehead)

Jake: (Grunts) What did you!?-wait my voice. I can speak, what did you just do!?

Crowley: I gave you your voice back, you're welcome.

Jake: Who are you?

Crowley: the question is, who are you.

Jake: what?

Crowley: You completely and utterly clueless aren't you, doesn't matter you'll figure it out soon enough, but I have to say you have your father's looks.

Jake:!? How do you-

Crowley: Sorry, no spoilers.

(THUNDER AND LIGHTNING)

Jake: (looks up) What is that!?

Crowley: That's my cue, see you around War, exit stage Crowley (disappears).

in that moment Crowley disappeared with Jake looking around to wondering what just happened and as Crowley disappeared so did the storm meanwhile it was still enough time before it got dark so Jake had decided to sneak out of Beacon and go to the forest hoping to find his other friends

Jake: Dust? Dust? It's me Jake, where are you?

Dust: Jake (lands on his shoulder) hey what are you doing here? Did you find her?

Jake: No not yet but I will, where the others?

Dust: They should be here any minute now.

light: Jake!

Jake Oh no (gets tackled)

light: (Hugs Tightly) Jake! I missed you, missed you, missed you so much.

Jake: (Struggles) I missed you too light, but I also missed breathing.

Dark: (tail wack) enough little sister.

light: Owie brother that hurt!

Dark: You brought it on yourself.

Light: Don't hate me for loving someone.

Dust: I don't think love is the right word.

Jake: It's great to see you guys but wherever one else?

Dark: The others had to stay back and watch tantor because even being close to this place makes him nervous.

Jake: I see...

Light: There's something different about you are you okay Jake.

Jake: I honestly don't know I mean so far it's been a weird day.

Dark: Yeah I'm pretty sure it was spending all day around with those humans. I'm pretty sure it was weird

Jake: Yeah weird

Dust: So what's happening now are we staying or are we leaving.

Jake: We're staying for another day until I find her and give her back to bracelets.

Dust: That reminds me something you never told us what would happen once we give it to her.

Jake: I don't know I just want to give it back to her.

Dust: I don't know. I mean I'm willing to help you with this but I don't like being anywhere near their cities.

Jake: I know I just want to really do this.

Dust:...okay.

meanwhile it got dark and Jake had snuck back into Beacon luckly no one noticed and everyone was either in a sleeping bag or in their night clothes and he didn't have a pair of Night clothes so he decided to sleep in what he's wearing right now but then he looked around and eventually he song Yang and our night clothes his face lit up happily to finally see her again so he quickly managed to get to her without trying to wake up anyone else then as he got up to her he tapped on her shoulder tryingto get her attention luckily Crowley gave Jake the ability to talk to people again.

Jake (Taps on Yang shoulder).

Yang: Oh hello can I help you?

Jake: hello Yang.

Yang: How did you know my name.

Jake: You told me it's me Jake.

Yang: I'm sorry but have we met before?

Jake: Yeah we met a long time ago.

Yang: I'm sorry, it's just I don't remember you.

In that moment Jake's happy face slowly turn to us sad and confused face then Yang turn her attention towards Ruby for a sec then she turned around to face Jake but by the time she did Jake disappeared

Yang: (Looks Arounds) well that was weird.

Jake was walking around in confusion then he managed to find a spot the in the corner by himself

Jake: I don't understand. How could she not remember me?

???: Hey do you mind if I sleep right here?

Jake: Yeah, sure go ahead.

???: thanks, everything all right?

Jake: Yeah I'm fine. It's just I saw someone a long time ago and when I talked to her she didn't remember me.

???: Ouch did you try to get her to remember You.

Jake: I was just hoping that she would remember me by looking at me but she didn't and after that I just walked away.

Jaune: That's got to be rough, anyway my name is Jaune

Jake: Jake.

Jaune: Do you know what's going to be happening tomorrow.

Jake: I don't know they said something called initiation.

Jaune: Wait? Do you know what initiation means.

Jake: No sorry.

Jaune: Initiation is like a ceremony where they promote you to something I have a feeling tomorrow it'll be like a test.

Jake: What kind of test.

Jaune: knowing academies like this it's going to be dangerous so whatever is going to happen we better prepare ourselves.

Jake: I'm always ready.

Jaune: Well so am I (yawn) we should probably get some sleep.

Jake: Okay.

Jake turn to his side with his mind filled with questions like who is that man who taught him how to speak and how did he know his parents pair I think are you you and why did yang not remember him. And what he do next in the morning.
