Chapter 249 - Acasuality

Seeing the pills before them made everyone wonder what kind of pill could produce such a dense aroma that cleanse their soul. They all knew that even the grandmaster of Alchemy was unable to produce a pill of this quality and yet the young man was willing to give it away as if it was nothing more than trash.

Ye Zong mentally thought of a more appropriate payment for the pills knowing how this person was willing to give away a precious pill.

Caelum easily discerns his thoughts but lets him have some face. He respected the man despite his shortcomings in the future and was still an honorable man that was able to give his admiration.

A person carrying the weight of the people Hope and future was not an easy feat that anyone could do. This is the reason why the Sacred Family, the people who would one day betray Glory City would fail from their ambition.

"Are you certain that you would give me this pill? The quality of these pills seem out of this world and may be a waste to be used for me."

Ye An reluctant believing the pill was a sort of treasure that he was willing to depart in hope of saving her. 

"What are you saying mother!? I think it won't be a waste if it could save you."

"Your daughter is right, I think you misunderstand as this is one of my creations and could do more later therefore I'm not losing anything."

"You're an Alchemist as well? How can someone be this strong and natural genius!? Are you a user of Spiritual Constellation!?"

Ye Zong knew about the rumors that the Demon Lord who had been exiled by the Glory City had used this technique to continue living after countless years.

However he shook his head and realized the side effect was not visible to Caelum's body as his skin may appear pale but it was not sickly.

"I am an alchemist but please refrain from asking more questions. Anyway, just take the pill and how it affects you."

Though Ye An was still reluctant took the two pill swallowing one of them that went down her throat, then a few seconds later made her cough violently and spat out blood scaring everyone.

"Mother!"

"Mistress Ye An!"

"Bastard what did you do!?"

Before he could do anything, someone grabbed and turned to see his wife was perfectly fun.

"No, the pill worked and made my body feel better than before."

"You almost acted rashly on their City lord, the pill only caused her body to remove any ailment and poison in her body. Now try swallowing the second pill."

"Apologize….I thought the pill had harmed her."

Ye Zong apologized for his violent reaction that Caelum did not mind and continued to observe Ye An taking the other pill, shocking everyone seeing her once pale skin and skinny body had returned to its former beauty. 

She felt her body grow stronger, regaining the strength her body once had. Ye Zong his wife returned back to normal and could not hold back his tears then hugged his wife while their daughter joined in.

Caelum and Xiao Ning'er went ahead and went outside where it was the two of them. The latter grew curious of him pondering where he came from and how he was able to produce the pill.

"If you are going to ask something then go ahead."

"Uhmm…Forgive me for doubting you and want to ask if you don't mind...how are you able to make those pills?"

"Easy, just add some stuff with other stuff then burn it afterward bam a pill."

Xiao Ning'er didn't receive such an answer causing the young man to laugh loudly. He took the opportunity to get to know her while scanning her soul, finding something intriguing.

The same thing could be found in Ye Ziyun but not as strong compared to her. These were pages of the Temporal Demon Spirit Book. He took these two pages into his Temporal Vine, circulating the soul force through these vines towards his Martial Spirit that was able to freely absorb more Soul Force and law energy.

Caelum reaching a certain breakthrough but decided to postpone heading back inside where Ye Zong having a strong resolve in his eyes.

"Thank you for not only saving my wife but returning her to former beauty. I can't express my gratitude enough, I am only able to vow that I shall help to the best of my ability."

Caelum only smiled then patted him in the back. He had not only saved a husband from losing a wife but a daughter losing a mother. 

"Then I went to be polite. You already know my request therefore won't add more for now."

"Ye Ziyun took him to our family treasury."

"Yes father! Come with me!"

Caelum was taken by Ye Ziyun leaving her parents to their accord while Xiao Ning'er took her leave for that day to let her friend enjoy being with her mother.

She left while feeling a certain connection towards Caelum unaware that the Page had caused the feelings to be directed to him rather than Nie Li.

'That young man seems familiar.'

Meanwhile, Caelum was led to a small room where upon entering greeted by countless treasures. He had all treasure across time from Tales of Demon and Gods verse yet the only treasure he is unable to store is a living creature or any time related treasure that distorts his Treasury.

"This is our family treasury, I would like to thank you for curing my mother and making her beautiful again. Our family can't be more grateful to you."

"It is alright, I'm already blessed with seeing that adorable smile of yours."

He began to crane his head to see the one he was looking for. There were few ancient schools that he took interest in and stones that could be used in refining weapons. 

Caelum finally found the item in the shape of an enormous egg the same size as an ostrich that was golden in coloration. It appeared to be nothing more than a normal stone yet with his Cosmic eye able to see the unique pattern hidden by a thick layer of its shell.

This creature was a Spiritual Beast who is more powerful and mysterious than Demon beast Caelum from what is able to gather only vague information.

 Caelum discerns that this creature is able to use not only Space and Time but influence the law of Acasuality enabling them to be hidden.

The egg was still in at its infancy stage therefore allow Caelum to tamed it and acknowledge him as its master.

"Are you interested in this stone? Do you know what it is?"

Ye Ziyun spoke, seeing him take a few seconds to observe the golden stone. She rarely visited the treasury and this item had been a mystery even for their clan. 

"I know of it, however only vague information. Let me take a look."

He poured a bit of his energy into the golden egg that instantly began to glow forming inscription patterns around the outer layer of its shell then it shot a beam of light straight through into his forehead.

Caelum instantly felt their connection that made his Soul realm to expand and cause the Temporal Vine to tenses up producing the same inscription pattern that cleanse his whole physical and root of soul. 

The egg greedily devours his energy before stopping. It was unable to consume more than necessary knowing it would die if it did.

'Hahaha now I am able to understand the Law of Acasuality more clearly!!"

Caelum comprehends the law allowing part of himself to be unaffected by Paradoxically attack. He was not yet immune to their effects yet was enough to know if something happened and won't fade immediately from existence.

Only people who have stronger Law of Acasuality able to alter past events themselves would be affected by the attempt. 

'I see Law of Acasuality is another effect of Omnipresence. If I am able to reach a higher level, I will be able to control my presence.'

The term Omnipresence is not about travelling to every point of time and place simultaneously; rather it includes metaphysical planes such as the mind and dreams. 

He took the egg into his Sea of Consciousness to be nourished then took the time to search for more items until leaving satisfied from what he found.
