After finishing his work and showing them to the elders and sect master who were bewildered at the profound text written in them. The intent contained within them could easily make anyone jump a few realms.
They were all grateful for Caelum's work who only considered it trivial and gained few things from it. Despite having the knowledge and technique after gaining Immortal and martial scripture still took the time to examine them.
It helped ensure that the possibility of losing this vast knowledge is lessened. Caelum already connected his memory deeply rooted into himself, however, the chance is still there.
He wouldn't want to lose them if by chance he was reborn into a new life. The innate talent and insight would not be lost and let him use this knowledge to his own accord.
Heading his way back, noticed a peculiar aura then smiled changing his direction. He headed into the entrance of the Gu clan where he was able to sense another beauty within the compound.
The guard hadn't noticed him due to letting go from suppressing his Void Imperfection physique and walking inside without care.
There in the corner of the balcony that oversees the fleeting wave of the pond that calm yet overflowing water, an elegant woman gazing into the moving waves charmed by its tranquility that emphasize her peaceful air.
She wore a simple robe yet it perfectly illustrates her graceful form despite her sickly pale skin. It was the few times that Caelum had been taken aback by such gentle air.
"And when the fleeting spring is gone, and days of beauty over, Flowers fall, and lovely maidens die, both are known no more."
Her voice though seems to be in pain gracefully speaking the poem. Caelum could hear sadness contained within those lines.
"I find fleeting moments of sunshine in this whirlwind of dark cloud and rain but if winter has the courage to turn into spring. Who says I can't bloom the same way?"
[A/N: not mine just search short poem of fleeting moments]
The young woman was perplexed, turning in her direction, seeing a young man slightly older than her with the mysterious air. His voice contains deep profound insight despite the simplicity of his words.
Caelum did not merely speak words and contained intent that encouraged those who face trouble to face them.
"Who are you if I may ask? For what reason did you trespass our Gu clan?"
"Call me Tian and be brought by the wind, who would have thought I would meet a beauty."
Gu Lan merely gave a flattering smile and seemed to feel less pain than before, unaware that Caelum gradually removed the poison inside her.
"Fufufu I'm flattered to hear that but do not fear what may happen to you if someone finds you?"
"Tsk tsk...how about you? Aren't you worried that I might do something to you?"
Caelum shook his head and pretended to be disappointed, which only caused her to giggle from his reaction.
"Well if you had any ill intent then you have already done it. Not to mention, I am sick and won't be able to fight back."
She calmly explained knowing how her body would barely move. Caelum only nodded his head before sitting down on the hard floor.
"As for your question, thank you for your concern but my strength won't be an issue. How about we get to know each other? I find your poetry to be interesting."
Gu Lan smiles, enjoying the unexpected visitor having a wonderful conversation while Caelum eliminates the assassin sent to kill her. They didn't have the chance to get close as they were instantly killed by his shadow.
After a while, a young man was walking along the hallway when he heard his sister laughing that made him confused yet glad to hear her laughter.
'I wonder the reason why she is laughing?'
"Sister I'm bac-Who are you!?"
Turning his way to where Gu Lan was startled when he saw an unknown man talking to her sister.
"Oh your back, Gu Bei! How was your day in the sect?"
"It's fine but can you tell me who that man is?"
He went closer whispering to her sister trying to hide their conversation when Caelum could hear every word they said.
Observing Gu Bei, his soul held an innate talent in the sword. Caelum already knew that he was destined to be a powerful sword expert but the talent he had was limited by the world.
"Yo kid, the name is Tian, and do you want to be my disciple?"
He went straight to the point, surprising Gu Bei slightly, then noticed that he was unable to discern the man's cultivation base and realize that someone was able to get inside without anyone knowing.
"Your disciple?"
"Yeah, I can see your quiet talent in the way of the sword and might be a great disciple for me."
"I-I don't know…"
"Also I healed your sister from her poison."
A moment of silence came for a moment then Gu Bei's eyes widened both in shock and anger while Gu Lan already guessed that she was poison, only trying to hide it from her brother who would likely act blind
"Is that true!? Sister, how do you feel? Is there any change?"
"Now that you mention it, I feel more refreshed and easier to breathe."
Gu Lan was baffled and after scanning her body found It becoming lighter and better. She turned to Caelum who only smugly smiled.
"I remove all of the poison and in time allow you to cultivate."
"Thank you for healing but why do this?"
"Nothing, I find you an interesting woman who can stay strong despite your state. Also seeing your brother brought me a new disciple."
"Hey, I still haven't agreed!?"
"Well you're going to, aren't you?"
"Yeah but...I want to see how strong you are first."
Caelum nodded, walking his way to the pond, slipping through the railings, shocking the two as he stepped into the water that remained undisturbed.
"When you reach a level of the sword, you can decide what to cut and anything shall be cut, stabbed, and sliced."
He manifests a blade from out of thin air reaching the state of completely removing unnecessary thoughts and emotion becoming the blade then in an instant performed his still developing Blade technique.
Caelum had yet to reach the qualification to name his three fighting technique a name as it had yet matured.
He was creating Blade technique, Hand to hand technique and Blunt technique. The most advanced was his Blade technique that allows him to perfectly use different weapons.
Focusing himself with the sword performed a series of dance and style above the o
Pond where despite the strong slashes, had not disturbed the still water.
His perfect control made the two shocked as it was not made by the sound of wind despite seeing the weight and impact it had.
Gu Bei's eyes did not leave any detail, mastering the things he was able to comprehend. Though it was perfect and would not reach, Caelum still improved his insight.
"Amazing! His stance and everything seem perfect. How is he able to remain undisturbed in the pond?"
He was perplexed seeing the pond remain still unmoved by Caelum execution of the sword style. Moments later, Caelum took a deep breath then.
Whoosh!
The cloud in the sky until reaching the end of the verse shook the world before calming down moments later. Gu Bei left jaw drop then looked into the pond where it still flowed normally, shocking him.
Caelum frowned, remaining disappointed that his blade technique appeared to be lacking a few things.
"Not bad right?"
"Yes senior! No, Master!"
'Next time call me brother in law'
Caelum thought grinning and having gained a few things and decided to go stay for a moment to tell about the one responsible for poisoning them. Gu Bei was now eager to grow stronger and best the person who was his cousin.
He left cultivation to Gu Bei with basic sword technique to help him gain a solid foundation while Gu Lan gifted as well who tried to refuse but Caelum insisted.
After a while, He spends the next few months in the Divine Feather Sect helping a few people while improving his relationship with the woman he'd met.
